Chapter 117: Xiao Su Detained

Gu Nuan Nuan woke up and noticed her husband was no longer in the room. She had already received her vaccine and began packing to return home quickly. Last night, Jiang Chen Yu received a call, and Gu Nuan Nuan learned that Jiang Su had gotten into trouble back home. There were no flights available last night, so they had to leave this afternoon.

"You're all packed?"

"Yes, did you book the tickets?"

Jiang Chen Yu took out their documents, "The car is waiting downstairs. Dry your hair and we'll go."

Jiang Chen Yu walked to the window. Gu Nuan Nuan noticed something was wrong and put down her phone, looking at her husband's back.

"I don't remember small fry, but I want to know who has the guts to detain my nephew."

"Mr. Jiang, our boss is an old acquaintance of yours. You know Chairman Gao, right?"

Jiang Chen Yu sneered, "When did I have an acquaintance named Gao? Talking a few words with someone doesn't make them an old friend."

Chairman Gao turned green with anger upon hearing this.

"Mr. Jiang, since you're not familiar with our boss, we won't be polite to your nephew either."

Jiang Chen Yu chuckled, "I'd like to see how you plan to be impolite to my nephew."

He hung up the phone.

Chairman Gao clenched his fists and pounded the table, "Jiang Chen Yu is so disrespectful. I saved him back then, and even a lifetime of gratitude wouldn't be enough. A man sitting in the shadows smoking didn't speak. The person who made the call put Jiang Su's phone on the table, drawing attention with a leaf tattoo on his wrist.

"Boss, the Black Tea House has been shut down by Su Lin Yan. Jiang Su was seen there before the shutdown."

The boss asked, "What about Xiao Xi?"

"Su Lin Yan is investigating Chief Xi and the Black Tea House, but hasn't found anything yet."

He took a drag from his cigarette, exhaling a cloud of smoke, "Su Lin Yan, Su Hou's son, another young, righteous guy."
