Tejasswi took a deep breath and looked away from Karan.. "I can't...!!"
Karan was hoping yes.. but here we go again!! He smiled because he knew that he deserved it. "Well.. let's stay friends then!!" He assured.
Tejasswi wasn't in mood to answer this "I can't be your friend either."
Karan laughed this time "okay..!!"
They stood there for few minutes and Karan took her to the table where he was partying!!
Yeah it wasn't club or street.. it was simple dinner.. on the Eiffel tower.. it can be arranged for those who are enough rich!! Like Karan..!
Tejasswi jabse Paris aayi thi toh usse ek ke baad ek shock mil rahe the!! Pichle 24 ghanton mein uske sath kuch zyada hi crazy ho gya tha!! Eiffel tower pe dinner karna wasn't on her list.. again, she was surprised.
They started eating their dinner.. but Tejasswi was curious "yeh tumahari party hai??" She asked by looking around.. there were more people eating their food.
"Yess.. this is called the very Rich Dinner Party!!" He bluffed.
Karan ka yeh baat-baat pe hasne wala andaaz Tejasswi ko zyada acha nahi lag raha tha!!
"Tum kafi change ho gye ho!!" She commented.
"Haan.. tum bhi!! You are more beautiful than ever!!"
She smiled "kitna ajeeb lag raha hai naa.. hum dono aise achanak mile aur lag hi nahi raha 5 saal ho gye!! It feels like yesterday..!!" She made the conversation.
"Tumahare liye ho sakte hain, par mujhe poora ehsaas hai.. in paanch saalon ka infact 2½ mahine ooper ho gye hain!!" Karan expressed his feelings.
"Don't tell me tum devdaas ban kar ghoom rahe the!? Because that'd be ridiculous..! You were the one who left me!!" Tejasswi Taunted.
"And you were the one who broke up with me, and told me to never talk!!" Karan corrected her.
"Well tumahara jana important nahi tha, tum India reh kar mujhe manaane ka try kar sakte the.. and you didn't!! So do not expect from me that I'll say yes to you this time!!" She explained her point of view.
Karan took this seriously.. "well, as I said before.. it wasn't worth it.. main tumhe manaa bhi leta toh kya hota?? Shivin aur tumahari phir ladayi hoti.. tum mujhse break up karti, kyon ke maine tumahara stand nahi liya hota.. phir chalo ek baar main tumhare liye Shivin se lad bhi jata..!! Uski wajah se uske aur mere beech problem aati..!! See???
Dono taraf problems..!!"
"And you chose Shivin..!!" She said sarcastically.
"Well.. to be honest I chose myself, he volunteered himself to come with me..!!
Ek baar ke liye maan liya ke, Okay I chose him.. so what??
He is my family.. tum batao..
Agar tumahari family ek din tumhe mujh mein aur unmein se chose karne ko bolti toh tum unko hi chose karogi naa??"
"Yes I'd definitely chose my family.. but Shivin is not your family, he is your friend!! Your Fathers are not brothers..!!" Suddenly Tejasswi stopped.. she didn't mean to say this.. she regreted.
Karan wasn't offended " see.. that's what I was talking about.."
After a while Tejasswi made conversation again "well agar yahi situation hai toh tumne Aaj kyu poocha?? Ab aisa kya badal gya Jo 5 saal pehle nahi tha?? Abhi bhi Shivin tumahari Family hai.. I am still his ex..!! I am still not friends with Shivin!? So what's new?? Jo tumne dobara poocha?"
"Well, I am changed now, I am not that old Karan!! I've learnd my way through life.. this time if we are gonna date.. it will be different."
"Would you care to explain??" Tejasswi asked again.
"Would you like to Date???" Karan cross questioned her.
Tejasswi didn't said anything and continued her dinner. Karan was definitely Changed. She loved him.. seeing him after so many years.. her love was awake... For him.. but this time she'll not rush into it. Past se yeh toh seekh liya tha.. It definitely will nice to be with him.. but not too soon.. she has yet Met him!! & Can't repeat her mistakes all over again.
Karan still loves her.. she was & Is his first love and girlfriend.. how easily can he get over her?? She is something special.. that no girl has ever made him feel..!! The sex dreams.. stubbornness.. patience.. determined.. most importantly she is lovable... It was difficult.. in these 5 years.. Karan remembered her even more clearly.. when she was with Shivin.. she has that giving nature..!! She is a Giver.. that is the sweetest & rarest thing that you can find now.. in world full of takers... She stands different. As long as She is in Paris.. he will try his best to convince her for giving him one chance..!!
If it doesn't work out.. if Tejasswi doesn't want him in her life anymore.. he will keep his distance forever and never bother her again!!
"Toh kitne din ke liye ho yahan??" Karan asked.
"6 more days..!! Actually 5... 6th Day par toh Jana hi hai!!" She replied.
"Toh kal ka kya plan hai tumhara??"
"Well mujhe office jana hai..!! Kafi kaam hai!!"
"Kitne bjje free ho jaogi???"
"5 pm..!!"
"Great.. tommorow... You and me.. after 5 pm..!! Ready rehna I will take you somewhere nice"
"How can you be so sure that I'll come with you??"
"Aaj bhi aayi hi ho, kal bhi aa hi jaogi.. I know!! Because hamara dil ka rishta hai!!" Karan laughed again.
"Why are you laughing so much?? It's not even that funny.." Tejasswi was annoyed.
"Well, I find it funny.. that's why I am laughing..
Anyway are you gonna come me with naa???"
"If you stop laughing too often!!!"
"Done..!"
That's how he succeeded. "It's a Date" & they cheered.
