Karan was feeling overwhelmed.
After sex they get dressed & went down for dinner.
They were constantly smiling at each-other while eating the food.
"Ab mujhe regret ho raha hai ke itni jaldi Delhi se jana nahi chahiye tha!!" Karan confessed at last.
Tejasswi rolled her eyes "that's what I was thinking from last 5 years!! That you could've stayed."
"Yeah.. I wasted 5 years without you. Hum college ke sabse popular couple ban sakte the!!" Karan said and still processing the things that could've done.
"Yeah... maybe, but I think everything happens for a reason!! Shyed woh sahi time naa hota hamare liye!! So you never know!!"
"Haan.. ho sakta hai, but I missed you! Very much.. aur aisa ek bhi din nahi tha jismein maine tumahare bare mein naa socha ho!! I am really sorry, meri ego keh lo ya Shivin ke liye protective nature keh lo!! Mujhe uss time par sach mein kuch nahi samjh aa raha tha sivaaye tumahare aur Shivin ki ladayi ke!! So I am really sorry Tejasswi."
Tejasswi apna hath uske hath par rakh deti hai "it's alright.. I am sorry too, itni sudden break up nahi karna chahiye tha!!... It turns out ke hum sab se hi galtiyan ho jati hain!! And I forgave you. Ab toh matter bhi nahi karta!! We are together right!! Again.. after all this time!!"
"Always " Karan smiled.
After dinner they took a walk, Paris was beautiful and small city.. you can peacefully walk.. they catch up all the 5 years... There was talking... a lot of talking!! Tejasswi get to knew about Karan's girlfriends.. but she wasn't bothered!! Karan gets to know about Tejasswi's success... He was simply so proud of her.. this is what he have always wanted for her.
"Mere 4 din reh gye Karan, then I'll be gone." Tejasswi reminded him.
"You don't have to Go!! We can stay here.." Karan said coolley
"Well, mujhe toh Jana hi hoga, meri family wahan hai.. kaam wahan hai... Friends wahan hain!!"
"I thought you liked Paris, aur yahin settle hona chaahti ho!! I can do that for you."
"Haan.. par aise ek dum se nahi!!"
"Toh matalab tum chali jaogi??"
"Haan.. par tum bhi toh India aa sakte ho!! You have a big lavish home there!!" Tejasswi casually said.
"I can.. par Shivin sath nahi chalega!! Aur yeh Paris wale hotel mein kaam abhi baki hai..!!" Karan was trying remember more ..
"Looks Like, I have to made a contract with Shivin... For your custody!!"
They both laughed.
"Shyed, tumhe pta hai hai.. Main aur Shivin we are brothers.. from another mother of, course!! So humne socha huya hai.. ke aur kisi ko kuch pasand aaye ya naa.. par hum dono ke partners ko hamein accept karna hi hoga, there is no escape!!"
"I got it, main India jaate hi ek lawyer hire kar leti hoon!!"
They smiled at each-other.
After a while woh ek park mein jaakar baith jate hain!! Mausam thoda thanda ho gya tha.. but it seems nice..
Thoda sochne ke baad Karan bolta hai "I want to tell you something.. this is a top secret.. you cannot tell anyone else!! You have to promise me!! It will go to your grave!!"
Tejasswi ek dum se serious ho jati hai "kya baat hai?"
"Pehle promise Karo!!"
"Okay I promise "
"Now just remember, I am telling you, because I love you & I trust you.. & it's important for you to know this.."
Tejasswi ko thodi tension ho rahi thi, Karan ko itna serious kabhi nahi dekha "I won't upset you."
"Well, as you know ke Shivin ki Mom nahi hai.. she died when He was kid!!
Well the truth is.. it was a suicide..."
Yeh sun kar Tejasswi ki aankhein thodi badi ho jati hain.. she didn't expect this!!
Karan continued "well.. Shivin ke mummy papa ki zyada banti nahi thi, and Shivin ke hone ke baad.. She felt trapped because of him.. real reason mujhe bhi nahi pta kyon ke uncle ne kabhi bataya nahi.. but killed herself after some time!!
Aur Shivin was raised by my mother.
Uncle loved her wife so much.. he wasn't there for him in that time, he used to think that in indirect way...He was responsible for her death. So Shivin spent his all life with me, my family...
When he was 8... Ek din uske Papa ne usse bol diya hoga ke you killed her.. or because of you she died!!! Something like that...!!
After that Shivin never looks back.. he considered us as his family but he always blamed himself... It took me so many years to comfort him.. that it's not his fault!!...
So beleive it or not...
I know ab hum dono bade ho gye hain.. but he is my responsibility!!
Ab toh vaise sab theek hai, Shivin has forgave himself & his father as well... They best friends now!!
This is the major reason...
But apart from this..Shivin is my brother, If anyone wants to be part of my life.. they have to make Shivin involved in this too... My family has taught me this...
Kyon ke bachpan mein preshaan ho jata tha ke mere parents usse itni attention kyu dete hain?? But phir mummy ne samjhaya ke I have to share us with him.. he doesn't have anyone.. a father who don't even talk to him so... I did.
Me & My family we are always going to be there for him.. in fact he is our family.
And you cannot tell this anyone, specially Shivin... He will kill me!!" Karan finished.
After that they sat in silence for few minutes and then went back to hotel... Because it was freezing out there!!
Tejasswi was in her room thinking about Shivin.. and Karan!! How she misunderstood them both!! But she knows.. and it seems more clear now!! Why Shivin was important to Karan. She felt bad for him. She dated him for 5 years & never realised anything like that.. they both hid it so well... Never let anyone knew.!!
Karan was maybe right... You can't chose anyone above your family.
Family is definitely very important.
On the next day.. she apologized to Karan, for her rude behaviour towards Shivin. But he seems cool about it. They talked about this and turns out fine.
"So kya socha tumne India aane ka??" She asked.
"Well, I have to stay here for few more days, Then I'll come for sure!!"
Tejasswi was happy to hear this "tum sach mein mere liye India aa jaoge??"
"Haan.. phir tumse Shadi karke tumhe America le jaaoonga!!" Karan winked at her.
"Shaadi???"
Karan thoda surprised way mein usse dekhta hai "kya matalab tumhe mujhse shaadi nahi karni?? Tum mera use kar rahi thi??"
"Haan.. aisa hi kuch samjh lo..."
They laughed... And Tejasswi continued "I can't marry you so soon.. I mean 4 din toh hamein mile ko huye hain!! Please take it slow!!"
"Understood." Karan kissed her on the lips.
