"Not a Fairytale" story revolves around three main characters Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundra & Shivin Narang.

Tejasswi and Shivin have been together since school.. on the other hand Shivin & Karan are best friends from day one. In teeno ki kadi Shivin se Judi hai. As normal typical girlfriend ki tarah Tejasswi loves Shivin more than anything else. However she became obsessed with him.. Shivin se roz milna, usse baatein kana.. baar-baar check up karte rehna Tejasswi ki ek aadat ban gyi thi ke uski poori duniya hi Shivin ke around thi. Shivin inhi baaton se boht bore aur irritate ho jata hai.. ke usse feel hota hai he don't love her anymore!! Tejasswi ka nature boht sensitive hai.. toh woh ekdum se uska dil bhi nahi todna chahta.. then He came with an idea.. to make Tejasswi fall in love with someone!! He chose Karan, his best friend for this. Karan ko yeh idea pasand nahi tha.. par Shivin ke manaane par woh temporarily agree kar deta hai.. while Shivin starts to ignore Tejasswi, on the other hand Karan started communication with her. Woh bhi usse school time se hi jaanta tha par he never really talked to her.. woh individuality ke according ek-doosre ke liye strangers hi the.. Tejasswi ke sath kuch baatein aur waqt bitaane par Karan ko realise hota hai she is so obsessed with him..!! Toh Karan decided not to impress her but to help her improve. Toh woh Tejasswi ko samjhata hai ke Shivin is not everything, you have your own life.. etc.. Karan ke sath reh kar Tejasswi mein confidence aata hai.. woh kafi hadd tak badal jati hai.. jab Shivin ko realise hota hai ke She is happy without him.. toh woh thodi jealous feel karta hai.. aur Tejasswi se maafi maang kar dobara patch up kar leta hai. Karan ko yeh jaan kar thoda bura toh lagta hai par.. woh kuch kehta nahi aur woh Tejasswi ke sath back to basic ho jata hai.. par Ab Tejasswi ko, Karan stranger nahi lag raha tha.. she tried to communicate with him.. dosti ka purposal bhi rakhti hai par Karan denied. Toh Tejasswi ko guilty feel hota hai.. and that meantime she realised that she has a thing for Karan!! So she decided to break up with Shivin.. ab itni self worth aane ke baad usse Shivin ke sath acha nahi lag raha tha!! & She confessed her feelings towards Karan..!! They both had crush on each-other.. par Karan.. Shivin ke kaaran Tejasswi se doori hi bana kar rakhta hai!! Kaafi jhagdon aur problems ke baad Karan aur Tejasswi relationship mein aa gye the!! But it won't last much longer!! Shivin was the problem.. & Tejasswi realised as well ke Karan hamesha Shivin ko hi chose karega!! Aur unka break up ho jata hai.

After this story leads to gap of 5 years.. where Shivin & Karan lives in USA..& Tejasswi is successful as well.. more independent than ever!! How Karan & Tejasswi meet again.. after 5 years.. what problems they face.. their whole closure & guilty of Shivin.. it all revolves around!! 

First half of the story is base of their personalities & the second half is their character devlopments.. the title of story "Not a Fairytale" is well deserved.. because this story is not that filmy.. I tried to bring reality of relationships, feelings.. friendships & love ofcourse. That how easily people shifts their feelings from one person to another.. how teenagers made stupid decisions based on their random emotions. I hope everyone likes it. At the end of this story, it shows will Karan & Tejasswi managed to make a balanced life?? Or how Karan had to chose between his love & friendship??
