In other words, he won't be a recurring character like others because he's Lola's ex. Now, out of respect for Lola, I won't be getting into every detail of their relationship, the bad things he did, or the main reason for their breakup.
Instead I will get into MY experience with him the few times I met him.

So, while we were in the middle of uni, Lola met this guy Bob through mutual friends. They started getting closer and eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend. Now, the first time I met him was at one of Lola's birthdays. I remember I got to her house (we did a small get-together there, as we would often do) and met not only him but other friends from Lola's she had talked about but I had never seen.
I was particularly excited about meeting this group of people because, at the time, Zach pretty much had abandoned the friend group, and I was excited to make new friends. And in my mind, if they are friends with Lola, then by default, we must have some things in common. Now, at first, I said hello to everyone. Lola presented all of them to me, and I sat next to our other friend, Dean. One of Lola's friends was very talkative and easy to make conversation with, so we all started talking with him and just getting to know each other. Suddenly, I get this odd feeling that one gets when you feel someone is watching you. But it was kind of odd. It was almost as if I was enjoying the group conversation with Dean and the other friends, and suddenly, my guardian angel told me, "Bish, look to your left". As I did, I kid you not, Bob was staring straight at me like this...

Now, something that I am good at is pretending nothing is happening outside even though inside, I might be pooping my pants. So I just laughed a bit (because the one leading the conversation was Lola's friend, not me) and looked somewhere else. A few seconds later, I purposefully looked at Bob, just to make sure he was not looking at me anymore. And now he was like this:
