After a productive afternoon I sipped a glass of wine as I look through photos of the property again.
I fell in love even more than I already had but now I was weighing up my pros and cons I was just one person did I really need all that space?
My mother would say yes and my father would say if it was what I desired but right now I couldn't even think, thank god I had asked the agent to give me a week to think it over.

My phone rings and I look at the caller I.D
'Mum'

This will be fun

"Hey mum" I answer the phone putting the wine on the coffee table "Hello dear how was your day" I frown my mother never spoke to me like this "it wasn't bad I um ... I actually was looking at a potential new home" I look at the photos on the coffee table "something nice I hope" I roll my eyes leaning back into the couch  "it's a private property it's really nice mum I think you'd like it" she huffs "sure , I'm calling because I need to know if you will host Robert" was she kidding "Mother you're joking right?" She ignores me "he is enquiring about a job in Lodi Private Hospital" she boasts proudly and I sit in shock I couldn't believe either of them hadn't gotten the hint "look mum that's nice but  he can find a hotel" she went to speak and I cut her off "I'm still annoyed at you for what happened in L.A and I'll remind you again mother I'm not interested in Robert" she huffs and I couldn't take it anymore "goodnight mother" I say hanging up before staring at the photos of the house pushing the photos away from me "ugh" I groan why did she have to ruin everything!
Why does he have to ruin everything!

I hear a kitchen timer go off and I sigh it was the lasagna I had prepared to take to Happys Mother tomorrow.
I didn't want to show up empty handed, I placed oven mits on my hand retrieving  the food from the oven and placing it on the counter top. I had also prepared a salad to take with us in the morning, I decide to tidy up the lounge room while I waited for the food to cool. It wasn't long before a  knock interrupted me making me look at the clock with a frown

'10:00pm'

Who would be here this late.. Happy had a key and no one else came by after 7pm.
After a second there was another knock but louder everything in my gut was telling me to run  but instead I creeped up to the door looking through the peep hole seeing nothing but darkness. I freeze. Whoever was out there didn't want me to know who it was before I answered the door. I hear deep laughing "I know your there angel" I frown it was a voice I didn't recognise as a low rumble comes down the street he chuckles again "your man won't always be around" I felt sick and frozen in my spot until minutes later when Happy unlocked the door walking in whistling stopping as he seen me terrified in the entrance "Katey are you okay?" He asks grabbing my shoulders studying me I shake my head "there .." I frown and move around him looking out the peep hole being able to see my entire porch and I take a step back in terror "there was a man" I whisper and Happy grabs his gun "go in the bathroom and lock the door while I check outside" I grab his hand "Happy-" he cuts me off shaking his head "please Katey just listen" I nod doing as I told heading down the hall and into the bathroom locking the door and staring at it for what felt like eternity  until there was a light tap on the door "Katey you can come out"  I let out a breath I didn't realised I was holding as I hear Happys voice I felt so shaken up and all that had happened was a man knocking at my door.

Unlocking the bathroom door I'm met with the face of concern "you okay baby?" Happy asks and I practically jump into his arms shaking like a leaf "did you see anything?" He shakes his head no "what did he say to you Katey?" I burry my face into his chest not wanting to say anything more "Katey I need to know what happened so I know how to keep you safe" Happy states and I look up at him with puppy dog eyes "that he knew I was in here and my man can't protect me forever" his eyes darken as his arms tighten around me "no one will ever lay hands on you"

The next morning  i woke up  to  an empty bed and to sound of a  drill  making me frown and get up walking down the hall  "Happy?" I call out "in here" I hear his rough voice in the lounge room and head in there shocked to see Chibs , Clay, Jax and Juice "um ... goodmorning?" They look at me and Clay smiles "morning sweetheart, Killa told us you had a late night visitor"  I look at Happy who was talking to juice and pointing around the house  I scratch the back of my neck "yeah I um... I didn't get the chance to look at him"  Clay smiles rubbing my shoulder "it's okay Katey we're not going to let anyone touch you, juicey here is installing some security cameras and a security alarm system for you" I look at juice "oh I don't want to be a pain"  Juice scoffs "your not being a pain Katey, friends look out for each other"  Happy walks over to me "go shower we will leave to see mum once this is done"
