After signing everything, they drag me, forcing to get inside Vlad's Mercedes Benz Van.

"What are you still doing there? You can take a seat." He gave me a devil grin. "Enjoy!" Just like before, Vlad's tone was filled with nothing but pure sarcasm. He's literally having so much fun torturing us.

The engine started and I could tell we are on our way home. I was just hoping Vlance was not there when we reach there. I don't want her to see me looks like a complete mess.

"I feel like watching the news right now." Vlad playfully whirl the glass of scotch in his hand.

I was saving the last of my energy, resting my back at the seat, right next to him. It was only the two of us inside his Benz, except the driver. There are two cars in front us, leading on to our way and about five more car tailing us. All are packed with Vlad's men.

He switches on the TV and the news pops up. "Kapapasok lamang po ng naglalagablab na balita. Humarap sa publiko ang pamilya Imperial, ang pamilyang ito ay mula sa mga maiimpluwensyang alta siyuda; ibinunyag and madilim at katakot-takot na sikreto ng pamilya..."

"I'm the head of the family Imperial, speaking. We are here to apology for the crime we had committed and to reveal the true story behind Vera Isidro del Prado..." Both my parents were being cuffed by the police as dad continuously spoke and from there, he revealed everything. After that, the police took them and brought them inside the jail.

We reach our home and my men quickly positioned themselves to defend our territory but when they saw me, I signal them to back off, they drop their weapons and Vlad's men seize the whole place, searching for tita Vera.

I felt relieve when we found that there was no one in the house when we entered. "Let's go to my library." I lead the way and they followed me.

A swift of heave casted out from my lungs in a sudden when I realized Vlance was just right inside my library, holding her phone, watching the news where in my parents admitting their crime. I felt like I was being splashed with a bucket of cold water again when I saw her.

"I'm the head of the family Galdonez - Imperial, speaking. We are here to apology for the crime we had committed and to reveal the true story behind Vera Isidro del Prado..."

Our eyes collided and I could see that behind those pair of her beautiful emerald eyes, she was confused. It seems like there were so many questions she wanted to ask.

"Vlance, stay away from him, he is a monster! Just go home. My men will escort you back to our mansion." One of the men gently drag her but because she was stubborn as always, she pulled away.

"Let the fuck go of me! Vlad, Duke, what is happening right now? Is these some sort of a prank or something? Stop it right now, I don't buy it! It's not funny."

"Vlance, I'm serious! This stupid evil freak and his wicked clan tried to kill mom and some other innocent people just to conceal their crimes. They were fooling us all this time, for twenty years. He confined mom just right somewhere around the corners of this hell mansion, where only he knows it."

Vlad then turn to face me with his gun pointing at me. "You moron, where is our mother!"

Vlance was trying to absorb everything. She was in shocked and right now, her body freeze and her mind was taken to the state of total daze.
