DUKE
Hmm. Her phone was secured with Touch ID and a six-digit passcode. On the face of it, there is no possible chance I could ever successfully unluck the Touch ID so I'll just go with the six-digit passcode.
If I were her, what passcode should it be? Should it be her birthday? The last six digits of her phone number? Her debut anniversary? Ugh! What else?
Damn it! I look like a ludicrous madman acting up like a dope detective, obsessively desperate to decode a mystery. I had entered all the possible passcodes I knew but all of those failed. The phone disabled twice now for all the failed attempts so I have to wait 5 freaking minutes. This time I must do better because if I failed again, the phone might get disabled for more than 5 minutes. I don't want her to get suspicious about why it took me longer in the bathroom. Besides, she might be looking for her phone right now so I have to make it fast.
Hmm. What could it be? The phone beamed and it got another text message from Ellie saying, "Vlance, I have just safely arrived at CMA."
There, the mystery has got its answer. Ellie. Her passcode might have something to do with Ellie. How come I didn't think of that earlier? I'm using Vianca's birthdate as my passcode so I assumed Vlance has thought of a passcode that would remind her always like how she had memorized her fondness with that robot geek.
Ellie's birthday was last month. I know it because I was invited to his birthday celebration. I don't remember exactly when, but on that same day, I just arrived from Dubai where I attended a meeting with the investors and after arriving at the airport I headed straight to the Requerva mansion to attend the party. I just showed up to send my greetings.
Now that I got the month and day of his birthdate, it's now time to solve his birth year. Ellie was 3 years younger than me. There, I got it and entered it on her phone.
Fuck! I failed again. This is killing me! I only got 3 more attempts before the phone would get disabled again. This is torturing. Goddamn it!
Out of a sudden, I remembered something. It was like there's a bulb that lits on my head. Doctor Eliseo mentioned that Ellie's birthday was actually five days late because Ellie usually goes out on his birthday to go somewhere. He told me that Ellie used to celebrate his birthday by going to medical missions.
I quickly recalculated it and press the codes to the phone but damn! It fails again. Jeez! This made me want to just flash her phone on the toilet bowl.
Wait a minute. I gleam of hope glow up when I come up with another code combinations. I use to reverse the combinations in creating passcodes so it would make it harder to access, preventing those nutty intruders... like me. I admit to myself.
This is the second to the last attempt and if I failed again, I will really throw her phone and I'm not joking so I must succeed this time.
A fountain of triumph spurted out in rejoice when the phone unlocks. Finally, I did. Getting my way in to her privacy was like another achievement to me. But in a form of unrighteousness, a still small voice told me. But I had already gotten all through my way in now. I don't think I could back out anymore. Damn it! I'm going to push through it.
