"I'm sure you'll need time alone. Maiwan ka muna namin dito. Saldy texted, he's waiting at the dining hall. We'll just wait for you there."

I took the moment to pull myself back together. I wipe my tears using the sleeve of my grey bottun up shirt and then, I breathe in and out, in few repeats, until I was able to stabilize myself, back to its composure.

After few minutes, I press on the pen to hear the voice memos. "Hi, Tay! It's Vielle. I hope you're just doing well. I miss you already!" She paused.

"By the time you hear this, you've prolly met Dad already. The real reason why I was in Ilocos, is to find you because I wanted to confirm one thing..."

"Tay, even though I have only spent a short period of time with you, the answer that I've been looking for has been fulfilled. You've given the exact answer I was looking for. And now, I'm certain about it..."

"Tay, It's about time for you to get the answer you've been longing..."

"It was through this pen that had given me hope. Although, I only heard the last few words, by accident - but that few is already enough for me to be able to understand it all clearly. And I know, it would also work the same way to you..."

"But before that... Tay, I have prepared something for you - at the farm house, I put something at your drawer..."

"Tay, we need you. Please, come, rescue us. I trust you. And even though I believed that you'll come prepared, I hope- I could at least help to you in some ways..."

"Fight with us. I know, we'll win this..."

I rushed out. "Duke, where are you going?" Saldy and Ellie called me the moment they noticed me just passed by them.

I just ignored them in a hurry to get in my car and drove as fast as I could just so I could get there, as soon as possible.

My hands fumbles in the drawer, searching for the thing that Vielle had kept in it. I've already ransaked through it, but I failed to find it.

Where could've been she placed it?

As I was collecting my thoughts, I noticed that the drawer looks a bit bigger than its capacity inside. My brains starts to calculate the meassurement- The depth, height, and the width don't seem to equate. I look at the very buttom of drawer. When you pull it, the hinged slide, you could see about an extra space at the bottom panel, enough to fit in a thin book or few pile of paper. I lifted the drawer up and I was able to detached from its carcass frame.

I flip the box drawer and there I found an enveloped was fastened under the bottom ply.

Inside the envelope, I found some important documents - There was an account book which contains numbers of undeclared transactions involving large amounts in the span of years.

There was a records of large transactions between a dummy company and the Vladimir's company and its subsidiaries over a decade. Siphoning the slush fund with a dummy account overseas. This is clearly a crime of tax evasion, embezzlement, and breach of duty.

How did Vielle was able to obtain all of this? Oh, God! Once Vladmir get to know about what my daughter is scheming against him, he'd surely do everything to get her restrained. She's in big trouble.
