Chapter 12

Y/n POV

As soon as school was over we raced to where El was. She looked like she was in some sort of trance but she met up where we told her to and the exact time.

"El!" Mike called over to her. When I made good distance I dropped my Bike and went over to her.

"You okay?" I asked her as usual walked up to her. She nodded her head. I smiled to her and I went over picked my bike up.

Mike patted the back of his seat for her to come along. I heard Lucas giggle. El could have rode with me, but Mike is okay.

"Hop on. We only have a few hours" Mike said as he reminded me about curfew. Plus we normally would not spend years at AV club. She hesitated before walking over to Mike and hoping over the back of his Bike.

I smiled as I followed close behind Lucas as I followed him. Soon we made it into the woods and I didn't want to ride my bike anymore so I dragged it along.

"This is boring" I huffed as I kept following along. I turned around and Mike and El were walking talking slowly behind us.

"Tell me about it" Lucas mumbled as he kept walking.

We followed El as she lead us to wherever Will was. To be honest I don't think we were getting far and it was getting dark and cold and mom would be super pissed if we did not get home soon.

We walked a familiar path as we made it to a clearing of Wills house. It was weird being here without him and it send shivers down my spine.

"Here" She announced as she stopped and turned around to us.

"Yeah, this is where Will lives" I said as I scratched my head in confusion.

"Hiding" She repeated. I never got what hiding meant and it was starting to make me mad. Like we were on a wild goose chase.

"No, no, this is where he lives" Mike corrected her. I knew he wasn't going to get upset with her like everyone else would but he needed to because I was not going to do this all night.

"He is missing from here. Understand?" I asked her as I shoved my cold hands into the pockets of my jacket.

Dustin and Lucas came up behind us as they dropped their Bikes. Dustin was out of breath and Lucas was obviously pissed.

"What are we doing here?" Lucas asked, he was thinking the same exact thing. As much as I wanted to defend her it was extremely hard.

"She said he's hiding here" Mike said keeping some sort of hope.

"Umm... no!" Dustin said stating the obvious. "I swear, if we walked all the way out here for nothing—" Dustin said before Lucas cut him off.

"That's exactly what we did!" Lucas said now getting even more mad at El. "I told you guys she didn't know what the hell she talking about!"

"Why did you bring us here?" I asked her nicely trying to help get some answer to where Will was.

"I..." She said before Lucas cut her off.
