Chapter 2

Y/n POV

When I got there everyone was waiting for Mike. Which was typical. Mike was probably tonguing El that he couldn't show up in time. Mike showed up on his Bike and we all moved around him.

"You're late" Lucas said with his hands crossed over his chest.

"Sorry!" Mike said as he parked his bike and got off. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Again" Lucas reminded him.

"We're gonna miss the opening" Will whined as Mike was taking forever.

"Yeah, if you keep whining about it. Let's go!" Mike rushed us over to the entrance of the Mall.

"If you guys keep whining about it." Lucas mocked Mike and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Just please stop talking, dude" Mike said to Lucas.

"Let me guess. You were busy" Lucas said as he pretends to be Mike and Eleven kissing.

"Oh, yeah, real mature, Lucas" Mike said as he rolled his eyes.

"Oh, El, I wish we could make out forever, and never hang out with any of our friends" Lucas kept going as he mocked Mike.

"Lucas, stop" Max said as she lightly hit Lucas on the shoulder.

"Will and Y/n think it's funny" Lucas said as Mike glared at the both of us.

"Because it is" I said as I let out a small laugh.

"Yeah, it's so funny that I want to spend romantic time with my girlfriend" Mike went on.

"I'm spending romantic time with my girlfriend" Lucas said as he put his hand over Maxs shoulder, who brushed him off.

"Y/n, what happened to your face?" Mike asked as he went to touch my cheek.

"Oh I thought there was a bug on my face and I hit it" I said as I used the same excuse with Steve.

"Oh" Mike said as he looked at me. He knew I was lying. Of course he knew. He was my twin brother.

"Where's Jace? He didn't want to come?" Max asked as we walked farther into the mall.

"Umm yeah" I said as I thought about being around Jace made my stomach hurt.

"Jace, doesn't spend romantic time with his girlfriend" Lucas said as he pointed out to Mike.

"He is not my boyfriend" I said quickly.

"Yeah, good cause i don't like him" Mike said quickly.

"It's because she still loves Dustin" Will joked as he pretended to make out with himself.

"Can it" I said as i shoved Will.

We walked down the steps as we bumped into many others and rushed our apologies. We couldn't be late or we wouldn't have a seat. We made it own Mike bumped into a couple of girls.

"Watch it!" One of the girls snapped at him, I flipped her off as she walked off.

"Yeah! Watch it, nerd!" Erica, Lucas's little sister said. Her friends and her were eating ice cream and sitting by the fountain.

"Isn't it past your bedtime?" Lucas asked her as we continued to walk.

"Isint it time you died?" Erica snapped back at him. "Hi, Y/n!" She said as she waved at me. I waved at her back while Lucas glared at me.

"Psycho!" Lucas spat at her .

"Butthead!" Erica yelled back at him.

"Mall rat!" Lucas shouted as we walked away.

"Fart face!" Erica yelled at him before Lucas made a farting noise at her and Max grabbed his arm.

"Oh, now that was mature" Max said to him as she pulled him along. We walked into Scoops Ahoy once again.

We walked up to the counter as Mike rang the bell repeatedly. Robin was already there and she rolled her eyes at him.

"Hi" I said with a smile.

"Hi" She said back with a smile. I spent a lot of time with Robin and Steve over the summer. I loved Robin. She was super cool and I loved how she always could knock down Steve a few notches.

"Hey, dingus, your children are here" Robin said as she halted at Mike. Steve opened up the window from the back and sighed.

"Again? Seriously?" Steve groaned, I gave him a big smile and he rolled his eyes. He let us go through the back and we reached the door. We all started walking down the hallway to get into the Movie theater entrance.

"I swear, if anybody hears about this—" Steve called beofre we cut him off knowing exactly what he was going to say.

"We're dead!" We all said to him as he continued to walk down the long hallway. Mike was the first one to stick his head out of the door to make sure the coast was clear.

"All clear" Mike said as he all came rushing out. We quickly closed the door behind us. We all followed Mike into the entrance of 'The day of the Dead'.

I sat between Mike and Max and we all got comfy in our seats.

"See, Lucas we made it" Mike whispered to Lucas from the end of the line.

"We missed the previews" Lucas said to Mike.

"Still made it. Fart face." Max said to Lucas as I let out a small laugh. We all grabbed the snack that Will brought in his bag as the movie started to play.

It started with the lead character in a white room. She was sitting on the ground looking around. She moved to the calendar. Just before thag all the power went out in the mall. We all groaned and looked around.

People shouted in the movie theater for the lights to come back on. It was completely dark and really creepy. I groaned and leaned back. Why was this happening to us?

Then the movie started playing again as everyone cheered as the lady came back on the screen. The lady reached out to touch the calendar and a whole bunch of zombie hands grabbed her. I groaned at how stupid this movie was going to be and how cheesy it was as I shoved candy in my mouth.
