Y/n POV"Oh, man, now this...this is what I'm talking about!" Steve said as we made it out of the doors.
"Toddfather?" Robin asked questionable as she looked at the license plate.
"Oh, screw Todd! Steve's her daddy now" Steve said with a smile as he hurried to the car.
"Did you just talk about yourself in the third person?" I asked as I jumped into the car and sat in the middle between Dustin and Erica.
"Did he just call himself daddy?" Erica asked the bigger and most important question.
"All right, we're are we going?" Steve asked as he started up the car.
"Weathertop" Dustin said as he took a seat right next to me. I leaned closer into him.
"Weather what?" Steve asked as he started to pull out of the parking lot.
"Just drive" Dustin groaned.
"Okay, Jesus" Steve said being a bit dramatic. As Steve drove into the night, the wind was blowing my hair all ground. I groaned and I put it in a hair bow.
"Jesus, how far is this place, man?" Steve asked as he continued to drive down the quiet and dark streets
"Relax, we're almost there" I groaned as I leaned my head back.
"Y/n, must be very special if you practically forced this girl Suzie into this plan of yours, huh?" Robin asked with a smile. I covered my face in embarrassment. "I mean, if you built this thing and lugged it all the way to the middle of nowhere to impress Y/n?"
Dustin filled them in how Suzie, a friend of his pretended to be his fake girlfriend to win me over. Suzie claimed she loved love and she wanted to do it.
"I mean, nobody's scientifically perfect, but Y/n is about as close to being perfect as any human could possibly be." Dustin said with a smile as he looked back at me.
"You're so sweet" I said as I kissed him on the cheek. I saw his cheeks turn a bright shade of pink, which only made me smile more.
"Suzie sounds made up to me. She sound made up to you?" Erica asked. "I mean what girl would agree to that?"
"Why are you hesitating, Steve?" Dustin asked as he walked forward.
"I'm...I'm...I'm not! I'm not! I think she sounds real. You know, totally, absolutely real." Steve said, I mean what ground agree to something like that.
"Left. Turn left" Dustin said as we made it to the hill clearing.
"There's not a road here" Steve said as he looked around.
"Turn left now!" Dustin said quickly.
"Jesus! Hang on!" Steve said as he swerved the car up the hill. I bumped into Dustin and held on to his hand as we were speeding up the hill. "Whoa! Henderson, where are we going?" Steve screamed as he kept going up the hill.
"Up!" Dustin shouted as he leaned back.
"Oh, Jesus!" Steve screamed as he kept pushing the car up.
"We're not gonna make it!" Robin said as she held on to the side of the car for dear life.
"Yes, we care. Come on, baby. Come on, baby!" Steve said as the car made it to a stop. "Come on. Come on."
"Guess the Toddfather has its limitations" I said with a small smile as we were now stuck.
Steve scoffed as he stopped the car and we all piled out. We didn't have that much to go before we could make it to the top.
"Bald Eagle, do you copy?" Dustin asked as we made it through to the top. Bald Eagle, who Murray didn't like the name was forced with it. "Bald Eagle, I repeat, this is Scoops Troop, do you copy?"
"Yes, I copy" Murray said back, you could tell by his voice he wasn't very happy with the name.
"Call sign?" Dustin asked.
"Bald Eagle" Murray said with a sigh.
"Please repeat" Dustin said one more time just getting a rise out of Murray.
"Bald eagle. This is bald eagle!" Murray shouted a little louder then needed.
"Copy that" Dustin said with a smirk on his face. "Good to hear your voice, Bald eagle. What's your 20?"
"We reached the vent. I'll contact you when I need you. Until then, silence." Murray said with a small sigh at the need.
"Roger that, bald eagle. This is scoop troop, going silent. 10-10, over." Dustin said as Steve patted him on the shoulder.
After a couple of minutes later Murray contacted us again with in need of directions and where to go.
"Scoops troop, this is...hm. Bald Eagle. I've reached another junction." Murray said through the radio.
"This is what?" Dustin asked as he looked down at the map.
"Fourth junction" Erica said.
"All right, so is memory serves, this is right after the My little pony thesis." Dustin said and I gave him a confused look.
"We went left, so he has to go right" Erica said as she looked down at the map.
"Right." Dustin said to us. "Fly right, bald eagle. Fly right" Dustin said to Murray through the radio.
"Roger that, flying right." Murray said sarcastically.
"What's the My little pony thesis?" I asked as I sat down next to Dustin.
"Don't get him started" Erica warned me.
"Get him started? Just tell me-" I tired to say before I was cut off by Steve.
"Hey, guys?" Steve said as he was near the bottom of the hill looking down. We went over to him and we saw the lights to the mall flicker off and on. They were in trouble. We ran back to the radio.
"Griswold Family, this is scoops troop! Do you copy? Over! Griswold Family, I repeat, this is Scoops troop. Do you copy? Griswold family, do you copy?" Dustin repeated over and over again since there was no one answering.
On the other end we heard a monster roar. My blood ran cold. It had to the mind flayer. They were trapped. And we needed to help them.
