Y/n POV"That's a negative , Dustin" I said as I yawned into my hand. I've been up since 5 trying to figure out the code to get into the school website to change Dustin's grade around. We were using our walkers to communicate. Since I was awarded a computer for my birthday.
"Try 'Tigers86" Dustin suggested. I sighed as I changed it, we have been doing this four like hours.
"Tigers86. Copy that." I typed in the password and it worked. I sat back and smiled a bit. It actually worked. "It worked."
"Holy shit" Dustin mumbled. "I'm running out of time here." Dustin said as he groaned.
"Eat my butt, I'm trying." I said as I worked to fix his grade. I was able to pull up all of his grade and found hi Latin grade that once was a D and I changed it to an A.
"Do you see it?" Dustin asked me.
"Yeah, I see it" I mumbled as I did my finishing touches to change the poor grade. "Yikes" I mumbled.
"Okay, I gotta go. I love you, you're the best!" Dustin said as he quickly said into the radio.
"I love you too" I mumbled. As I got up and started to get dressed.
"Where's your Hellfire shirt?" Mike asked as he barged into my room. Luckily I wasn't naked and I already had on jeans and I plain white t-shirt.
"Just because I sit with you guys at lunch, doesn't mean I'm involved in that shit" I said as I but my shoes on and followed him downstairs.
"Eddie will be mad, and so will Dustin" Mike said as we made it downstairs into the kitchen.
"They can both kiss my ass" I said as I obviously didn't cares about any of that. It was my least of my worries.
"Michael, I know your D&D club is tonight" Mom started to say as Mike digged through the pantry and gave me a granola bar.
"Hellfire" Mike corrected her.
"Why don't you just call it the high school drop out club?" Dad asked as I laughed at his joke.
"I want you two home no later than 9:00" Mom said to both of us and I groaned.
"We'll try" Mike said as he popped toast in the toaster.
"No trying. You both need to go to bed early" Mom said sternly.
"Why?" We both asked as the same time.
"It's a 6:30 flight, Michael. And it's only fair Y/n goes to bed at the same time" Dad said as he took a sip of his coffee. I groaned and leaned over the counter.
"Yeah, I know, but-" Mike tried to say before he was cut off by mom.
"No buts. Nine of no California" Mom said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"And no sweetie pie" Dad said, I cringed at his words.
"Twins! Let's go." Nancy said as she dangled her eyes in the air.
"Jesus. How am I gonna survive a whole week without you guys?" Mike asked as he was being sarcastic.
"Are you sure you guys are gonna be okay? It's a first week you guys are separated" Mom said with a sad smile.
"Yeah, we'll be fine" Mike and I both said as he grabbed the toast and we walked towards the door. We looked at each other, will we?
I mean it's the first time we will be apart that long. And that far away. We weren't in the same first grade class and we both cried for an hour until they put me in Mikes class.
...
"Max!" I called as I ran up to her. Max, well she changed. Over the summer she kidnapped shut everyone out but me. She couldn't , I made sure she didn't. She needed a friend, and I was going to do my best to stay with her.
"Y/n" Max said as she pulled her headphones off and turned around to look at me. I interloped my arm with hers as we started to walk to the school.
"Talk to Lucas yet?" I asked her. Lucas and her kinda ending things. Max needed time alone and I don't think Lucas could expect that. Lucas wanted to be with her and help her and Max wasn't the type of person to need that.
"Nope. I'm kinda avoiding him" Max said honestly as we continued to walk. I nodded my head. "You going to his game?" She asked me.
"Most likely. The boys have the Hellfire club and I'm not letting Lucas have no one there" I said with a smile as I stood by her side.
"Max!" I heard someone shout. I turned around and saw the guidance teacher walking towards us.
"Well, I love you, see you at the pep rally?" I asked her as I let go of her arm before the guidance counselor came.
"Yep, love you!" Max said as she waved me away. I walked into the building and to the Pep rally. Which was the most stupidest thing ever. Like no joke. I huffed as I walked into the gym and found Dustin and Mike.
"Look, I'm not saying that my girlfriend is better than yours. It's just that Y/n is like, a certified genius" Dustin said as I walked and stood between them.
While they were having this little debate, the cheerleaders were jumping and running around like little caged animals trying to dance.
When I walked up Dustin smiled and kissed my cheek. I think they were having another one of 'whose girlfriend is better' debates.
"Do you realize El saved the world twice, right? No offense Y/n/n" Mike said as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"None taken" I said as I rolled my eyes at how childish they could be. I smiled when I saw Max walk up and stand next to Mike.
"And yet you still have a C in Spanish." Dustin said with a face as Mike rolled his eyes at him. I couldn't help but giggle at the way they were acting.
The pep rally ended when one of the cheerleaders was thrown up into the air and caught perfectly. I smiled a bit. I did think about how cool it would be to be one of them. Not like I hated my life. It would be nice to be wanted and liked by others.
