Mikayla yawned, feeling severely exhausted, and she couldn't help but curl up against Pitch's side, making him chuckle softly but fondly. The warmth of his body and the sound of his heartbeat were comforting, easing her into a peaceful slumber as she drifted off to sleep, feeling safe and content in his embrace.

The stress of the day melted away as she fully relaxed in his arms, knowing that she was exactly where she belonged. She couldn't remember the last time she felt so at peace, and she silently thanked whatever forces had brought them together.

Dream

Instead of an extremely dark room, this time Mikayla was in a massive, grand ballroom with crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and ornate decorations adorning the walls. The room was empty except for a single figure standing at the far end, their silhouette barely visible in the dim light.

Mikayla's heart raced as she cautiously approached, unsure of who or what awaited her in this elegant yet eerie setting. Once she was close enough, she noticed that it was her silver-eyed man, but he wasn't wearing armor.

He was wearing a sleek black suit that accentuated his tall, lean frame. The contrast between his usual warrior attire and this sophisticated look only added to the mystery and allure of the situation.

Mikayla looked down at herself and noticed that she was wearing a floor-length, flowing purple dress with spaghetti straps that seemed out of place in this shadowy environment.

The dress felt like a costume, as if she had been transported to a different time or world entirely. The dress had a sweetheart neckline, accentuating her collarbones and adding a touch of elegance to her appearance.

The dress was made of a luxurious silk fabric that shimmered in the dim light, making her feel both out of place and strangely beautiful at the same time.

Mikayla stopped in front of her silver-eyed man, who looked at her with a mixture of love and admiration. She couldn't help but feel a sense of vulnerability in her extravagant attire, but also a newfound sense of confidence as she stood before him in the mysterious setting.

"Hello, again," Mikayla greeted him with a nervous smile, trying to mask her inner turmoil. She didn't know what to expect from their encounter, but she was determined to face it with grace and poise.

"You look absolutely stunning, my sweet girl," he whispered, his voice soft and full of warmth. Mikayla felt her heart flutter at his words, a sense of reassurance washing over her as she felt herself blush in response.

"Lemme guess. You can't tell me anything," Mikayla said, and the silver-eyed man simply chuckled in response, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"I'm afraid not, my dear. But I can promise you that everything will become clear in due time. However, there is one certain thing I can tell you," he continued, his smile mysterious yet comforting. Mikayla rolled her eyes, barely stifling a groan of annoyance.

"Like what?" Mikayla asked, her curiosity piqued despite her frustration.
