Naomi

"We don't have to do this," Kay said. "I mean we can just do it some other time."

"We are doing this now," Jay said. "Well, you two will do it."

"Naomi, talk some sense into him," Kay groaned.

"I did, but he won't listen to me," Naomi sighed holding Cherry in her arms. "His stubborn."

They arrived at the house. Kay father and stepmother were outside with some friends. Once they saw them, Kay father made a fist gesture.

Kay just stood near Naomi while Eddy stood to the side.

"Eddy, what's the meaning of this?" Kays father asked.

"I came to tell you I'm dating your son," Eddy said. Their father stepped up and punched him. Eddy winced. "Hit me all you want; I don't care. And from now on, if you put your filthy hands on him, I'll call the cops on you."

"You little asshole you can't speak to me like that!" Their father yelled.

"Yes he can," Kay stepped up. "I don't care anymore if you don't accept me. I'm me and that it."

Kays father came up to punch him. Jay stopped his fist.

"Kay anything you want to get from the house?" Jay asked him. Kay nodded and went into the house with Eddy.

"Hey get out if my house you little shit!" Jay twisted his arm.

A few minutes later Kay came back with a box and Eddy with another. Then they were on there way home.

"See that was easy right?" Jay said.

"He's going to send you to court?!" Kay said.

"So what, my father has the best lawyer," Jay smirked.

Naomi sighed. She didn't want Jay to be in trouble. But it seems he didn't care much about it. She wanted him to care. His so careless.

"Hey whoa," Naomi gasped. She almost bumped into a stop sign. She's got distracted. And here she thinks Jay careless. "You alright?"

"Yes I'm fine," Naomi smiled.

Eddy and Kay went toward there new apartment. So it was just her and Jay. You know that moment when it's dark, and them mean looking clouds began to roll in. And thunder is heard. Then it starts to rain, and it's getting foggy. Naomi wished it only happened in movies. It got creepy all off a sudden after an hour of walking. She held on to Jay.

"We better hurry home," Jay said as soon as he said that, they heard the screech of a car. They saw headlights and then nothing.

Naomi didn't know what happened. What did happen? Why was she staring at the sky? When did she lay down? It was so, strange for her.

"Shit! Tessa look what you did you killed her!" Naomi couldn't move. But she could hear and see. Did she get run over? "Crap he ain't moving either!"

"She's not dead she's still breathing help me get her I'm the van," oh no it was Tessa. Was she going to get kidnapped? Oh no.

"If I get caught I'm taking you down with me," the guy said. Naomi didn't recognize him.

"Yeah yeah whatever," Tessa said.

Naomi was picked up. She swore she heard bone crack. Now she felt pain.

"Think she broke her spine," the guy said. "She's completely immobile."

"So what will dumb her body down a hill if she dies," Tessa said. "We are doing this job, and that's it."

Now Naomi stared at the ceiling of a van. She could feel tears roll down the side of her face.

"See she's alive she's crying," Tessa said. "Now drive." Tessa came in her view. "You'll never get out of this, ever."

Naomi cried in silence. Unable to move she hope Jay was alright and that her brother or anyone will save her.

She was becoming sleepy now. So she closes her eyes for a few seconds which turn into hours. For she woke up in a room. She could see white walls and bright lights.

"I said hit her or something not run her over!" Someone yelled. "She's very, important!"

"Why is she important!" Tessa yelled.

"She's my son best friend," wait. "Kay will know not to humiliate me like that. And that boy Jay. He will pay as well. They thought there were smart. But they aren't. I got the upper hand."

"I see, well my bad," Tessa laughed. "She's alive so yeah. And your new wife is kinda like a nurse right?"

"She is a nurse," he said. "Lucky us she didn't die on us."

"Yup, I didn't mean to run her over it was an accident," she said. "It began to rain, and all this fog came out of nowhere. And well yeah it just happened."

Naomi blinked a couple of times. But it seems she would blink once and wake up to another day. She must've had dozed off again.

"She's awake again," a woman said. "And her spine is broken. If she doesn't get treatment right way, she'll be immobilized permanently." No, being paralyzed was not good. "Whoa hey calm down." She heard the loud beeping.

"What's going on?" The man asked.

"Her heart rate going up, I'll just put her to sleep for a while," Naomi cried. Then slowly she drifted off to sleep once again.

It would happen constantly. Naomi would get agitated, and she was forced to sleep. She didn't know how long she been on that room. But it seems like days. It appeared that someone moved her. For now, she was in another room. Perhaps in another place. But who knows.

"So what's going to happen now?" Tessa asked.

"Will wait until they give us the money," he said. "Then we'll leave the girl here to die."

"Oh that's awesome," Tessa laughed.

They'll leave her there to die. She so wishes to be able to move. She has to heal. Her life can't end like this. For once Naomi was happy. She doesn't want this to end, not like this.

Naomi thought of Jay hoping he'll come for her. She knows he will. Closing her eyes, Naomi didn't wake up. It like she was dreaming or floating in the air. Naomi could see the lights up ahead. And in that light, she saw her parents. Naomi smiled and went to them. But it seemed she couldn't reach them. Something pulled her back. And once more she stared at the ceiling.

"She needs medical attention!" The woman yelled. "I won't be part of your crime is she dies again, and I can't revive her!"

"You'll do as I say!" Naomi heard a slap. "Bitch learn your place!"

Naomi just closed her eyes again and woke up to the woman looking down at her.

"I send my son an address to here. Hopefully, they'll come for you," she smiled. She had bruises on her face.

Naomi wanted to thank her. But she couldn't speak. What can she do?

She hopes Jay will come for her. Feeling sleeping, she closed her eyes.

"You little bitch!" She woke up to some yelling. "I should kill you but won't because I still need you."

Naomi knew he had found out about what she did. Now she won't ever leave. Crying, she heard the beeping of the machine go off again.

All she wants was to go home. It felt like a really, bad nightmare. A nightmare that won't end.
