Jay

She rattles him out even after he told her not to. Now his parents are angry at him. They also call Lin to stay with them. Lin is the only one that could beat him up. He will have a word with Naomi. Somehow he'll need to get her alone.

"Dang, cousin you cross the line this time," Lin said. Jay couldn't get rid of her. She was to stay by his side at all cost. But fine.

"Whatever," Jay parked and got out slamming the door. Lin follow behind.

"Wow, street fighting, auntie, and uncle won't be so happy about this," Lin said.

"You're going to rattle me out?" Jay looked at her.

"Nope, let's see what you got," this is why he loved his cousin. She didn't mind him fighting. But she does mind, him picking on a weakling. "I want to see someone beat you ass. And it looks like someone did?" She touched his cheek.

Jay slapped her hand away and walked in.

"Jay you're late!" Pete came over. He was his trainer.

"Sorry had some problems," Jay said.

"Oh yeah big problems, he got in trouble for hurting an innocent girl," Lin said.

"You going to go around telling everyone about my problems?" Jay said.

"Yup, so everyone can know and come to kick your ass," Lin smiled.

"Dang, Jay picking on innocent girls, that's just wrong," Pete shook his head.

He led them to the break room. There Jay got ready while Lin looked through some magazines.

"How long are you going to follow me around?" Jay asked.

"Long enough to keep you away from this girl, Naomi," Lin said. "You should be ashamed of yourself."

"Naomi?" Pete looked at them."Sweet innocent, Naomi, as in Jared little sister?"

Everyone knows everybody in this town. Rumors spread fast.

"Yes," Lin said. "You should pair him up with someone, not his size."

"Dude, what she ever do to you, Naomi the sweetest girl I have known," Pete said. "I saw her grow up, into a beautiful girl, why would you pick on her?"

"Can you two stop? Please, I get it, it was wrong of me," Jay said who knows how many people know about this. Rumors will spread fast. And everyone will look down on him. He could see the disappointment in everyone's face.

Now Jay had rage. And he needed to take that rage on someone.

"Good luck cousins, break a leg, and I mean it break a leg!" Lin yell. Jay shook his head.

His match was a guy twice his size. He turns to Pete. He just gave him the thumbs up.

Jay will smack him later. He enters the space. People were around sitting or standing up. They were cheering and making bets. He needs the money now that his parents had to cancel his credits card. He isn't getting one cent from them.

The opponent was taller than him and broader. They both got into there fighting position. They circle each other. Now to get all his anger out.

The guy attacked first. Big mistake, he aimed for his face, Jay dodge and got the guy in the gut knocking the air out of him. But that didn't knock him down.

"Kick his ass!" Jay looked over at Lin. "Not you Jay!" Oh, now he's pissed.

Lin got him distracted, that the other guy got me. He staggers back. Dodging all the hits, well not all of it. Lin was yelling for the other guy to kick his ass. Was getting Jay distracted. He'll have a word with her after this is over.

"Boy, this if for messing little innocent people," the guy struck Jay right on his lower abdomen. Jay bends over, trying to catch his breath.

And so it went on and on. The guy just kept striking him. Jay knew he would lose if he didn't hit back. He tasted blood. Punching the guy on his sides. He didn't stop. Jay kept striking at the guy sides. Trying to weary him out. The guy knocked Jay down. Now they were rolling around the floor. But Jay got the advantage, after a few hits. Now Jay kept on punching him. Hit after hit. Until the guy just groaned in pain and didn't attempt to move or stand. Jay stood up. He had won, everyone cheers for him. Well not everyone.

"Booo, you suck!" Lin yelled. She threw a paper cup at him. Jay shook his head.

After they pronounced him the winner, Jay walked toward the break room. Sitting down, he lay on the bench. Coldwater fell over his face. He sat up quickly.

"Lin?" Jay sighed.

"Yup," she punched his back knocking him over. For a girl, she's firm. She skinny, but strong. "But how you going to explain to aunty about all those bruises?"

"Simple, you beat me up," Jay said.

"Oh I like that," Lin smiled. Pete came in.

"Here you go," he handed him an envelope. "You did great."

"Yeah, thanks for almost making me loose," Jay said.

"Sorry, but you needed a lesson," Pete patted his back. "Next fight will be in two weeks, be prepared."

"Alright," Jay got up and put the envelope in his backpack. He got dress and left. Lin brag about how she wishes for him to lose.

She wouldn't shut up until he reached his apartment.

"Wow, nice place," Lin walked around.

"Can you not touch my stuff," as if saying keep touching. Lin dropped some of his CDs.

"Whoops," Lin smiled and walked to the couch.

"Nevermind," Jay walked toward his bathroom.

Once there he undressed and got in the shower. He winced, his body was starting to feel the soreness. He let the water ease his pain. His thoughts wander to Naomi. And it made his blood boil. If it weren't for her, people wouldn't be looking down on him. But he can't bring himself to hurt her. He wanted to, but he can't.

"You have some interesting magazines," Jay almost slipped.

"Lin get out!" Jay yelled.

"Alright zeesh, oh almost forgot," she flushed the toilet, making the water go cold.

"God damn it, Lin!" All he heard was her laughter.

She always does that. Jay glad she's around. She always knows how to cheer him up. And shut him up.

Now back to Naomi. What will he do about her?

Jay smiled to himself.

What is Jay planning? That little smile of him is never pleasant.
