Naomi

"So your brother don't know yet?" Naomi shook her head. "He's going to find out sooner or later."

"I know, I'll tell him," Naomi sighed. She walked out, Kay next to her.

"Or maybe he knows," Naomi looked at where Kay was staring at her brother was there, and Jay. Lin too, and she was standing in between them. "Good luck."

"Thanks," Naomi walked toward them. Her brother seemed ready to kill Jay. He knew what happen between her and Jay. "Jared, what's wrong?"

"You know exactly, what's wrong?" Naomi looked down. He was mad at her this the first time he was furious at her.

"Not here, come on," Lin said. Naomi got in the back seat with Jay. Lin in the passenger seat, while Jared drove.

Jay grabbed her hand. She pulled it away. Her brother is mad at her. She doesn't want to make him anymore madder. But Jay grabbed her hand again. And he didn't let go. Naomi looked down he scooted closer.

"Don't be afraid," he whispered in her ear.

"Scoot over!" Jared yelled.

Jay just flipped him off. Naomi sighed.

They arrived back at Jay's apartment. Once there, Naomi sat on the couch, with Cherry on her lap. Jay sat next to her, and way to close.

"Jay?" Jay just shrugged. "You trying to get Jared even angrier?" Lin asked.

"Yup," Jay smiled.

"Naomi, tell me the truth," Jared said. "Did you have sex with him? Did you consent to it?"

Naomi looked down this was embarrassing to talk about she can't stare him in the eye. Naomi sighed and let it out.

"At first no, but then I let him," she said.

"So you didn't want to?" She shook her head. "Your death!" He went to punch Jay. Naomi blocked him by sitting on Jay lap. Jared frowned.

"But I let him, I wanted it then because I liked it," Naomi admitted this was making her blush her face felt hot from embarrassment. "I'm sorry. It just, my body reacted to his." Naomi looked down.

Jared didn't say anything he sat across from them. In the other chair. He stayed silent like that, for what seemed like forever.

"Naomi," he seems to stutter with his words. He couldn't say what he needed to say or didn't know how to say it. "Did you at least use protection?"

"Once," Jay said. "The second time, I slipped."

"You slipped," Jared chuckled. "You slipped, how nice."

"Being sarcastic isn't going to make me let you see your niece or nephew," Jay said.

"Jay shut up," Lin said.

Naomi looked at her brother. Did he hate her? Did Jared hate her for what she did? It will hurt if he was.

"You will take responsibility for your actions, and I expect you to marry her," Jay sat up. Naomi got off him. "What?"

"I can't marry her," Jay said.

That send a small wave of pain through Naomi. He said he loved her, yet he doesn't want to marry her.

"Why not?" Jared asked.

"Because she's still young," Jay said. "Don't want to ruin her life."

"You already did," Jared said.

"No I haven't, marriage is a whole different thing," Jay said. "I want her to go to art school as she planned." Naomi looked at him. He did care about her, and her future. "If I did get her pregnant then I'll support her by taking care of it. But I won't marry her."

Jared stood up.

"Naomi let's go," Naomi looked down. Standing up, she grabbed her bag holding Cherry. "This discussion over. Don't get near her, expect a restraining order in your mail." Jared grabbed he hand and dragged her away.

She looked back at Jay. He looked sad.

That night she laid in bed thinking. What will she do now? Jared had forbidden her to see him. It is for the best. But why does she feel sad? She should be grateful to be free of Jay. Buts she's not. She wants to be with him. She needs him who would've had thought she would end up loving him. Even, after all, he did to her. Sometimes loves come in unexpected forms.

Jared hadn't spoken to her since they got home. And she doesn't know how long it will last. Cherry snuggled into the pillow.

"Don't worry, he'll get over it, and will be able to see Jay again," Naomi smiled.

She cuddles Cherry. Soon they were both asleep but was awakened an hour later.

"Hey," Jay laid next to her.

"What you doing here?" Naomi asked. "You'll get in trouble."

"Don't care," Jay said.

"How you get in?" She frowned.

"Window," he smiled. "I'll leave, just came to tell you, I'll be picking you when winter breaks arrive."

"Oh," she frowned.

"We are going somewhere, can't tell you, it's a surprise," he leaned over and kissed her. "Just be prepared, won't be seeing you these few weeks."

"Okay," Naomi smiled now to wait. It will be awhile before she would be able to see him again. She wonders if her parents are mad at her or not. Would they be disappointed in her? Didn't her parents always want her to be happy? Now that she feels happy shouldn't it make them happy?

Naomi is still afraid of Jay. He's so, strong; he could overpower her easily. But he will give him a chance. Smiling she looked at Jay

"See you soon," he said. Naomi nodded.

Jay kissed her one last time and went out the window. She wonders where he will take her. Naomi admits this is a bit skeptical about all this. But she'll trust him. Winter breaks seem so long. But she'll not think about it. Maybe it will go by fast.

Going back to sleep, Naomi couldn't wait. But won't her brother be worry? She'll see if he's still mad at her later on. Naomi doesn't want him to be mad at her. She'll make it up to him, somehow.
