Jay

That little bastard. Kay will pay for what he did to him. Don't matter if his friends with Naomi.

"Ouch," Jay winced.

"Well your fault, why you getting in a fight with a minor," his mother tended to his busted lip and cut up cheek. That Kay had punched his cheek repeatedly it opens up a small cut that bled a lot.

"I didn't do anything to him, he started it all," how could Jay lose to a wimpy kid like Kay. Jay needs to strengthen up. Next time he'll be ready.

"Well don't even think of going after him, leave the boy alone, and I mean it, Jay," his mother warned.

"Fine," Jay sighed.

"Oh I want you to invite Naomi over for dinner tonight," Jay frowned. "I like her; she's sweet."

"Alright," after his mother finish with his cuts. He calls her. He had gotten her phone number yesterday while she had fallen asleep on the way home.

She didn't answer until he calls her again. "Hello?" She sounded sleepy.

"Naomi, it's me, Jay," Jay heard as if the phone fell. Then he heard a rustle.

"How you get my number?" She asked.

"Yesterday while you fell asleep on the way to your house," Jay said. "Listen, my mother invited you over to eat dinner with us."

"Oh," Naomi sounded surprised. "Well okay, I have to tell my brother."

"Alright, I'll pick you up later at around 6," Jay told her.

"Okay," she hung up before he could say anything else. Well, that's a bummer.

When it was 6, he went for her. Her brother was outside. Great, now he'll have to deal with him. Jay walked up to him.

"Look here, Jay," Jared said. "Not sure what you're planning on doing, I don't know what are your intentions with her. But if I see one bruise on her, I'll personally hunt you down and kill you. I'll kill for her, don't matter if I go to jail for it. I will murder you, got it." Jay looked at Jared to see of his bluffing. But Jared wasn't bluffing. He meant what he said he would kill for his sister. Jay will need to be careful from now on.

"It's just dinner, my mother invited her over," Jay said. Jared glared and went inside not even letting Jay in. A few seconds later, he came out with Naomi.

"Bring her home before 12, not like yesterday," Jared said.

"Alright sir," Jay smiled.

"Don't mock me," he turns to Naomi. "If you feel uncomfortable call me, I'll pick you up."

"Okay," Jared kissed her forehead.

Finally in the car and driving to his parents home. He turns to Naomi. This first time, he has seen her wear a dress with long sleeve. Of course. Her hair was down as usual, with clips holding it out of her face. She had no makeup on. All is natural.

When they arrive, Jay led her inside. She looked around in amazement.

"Jay you here?" He mother came in view. "Oh, Naomi come on." His mother led her toward the dining area. His father was sitting down at the front of the table.

"Oh Naomi, welcome please have a seat here," father patted the seat next to him. Well to the side of him. Naomi sat down.

"Thank you," Naomi smiled. Jay sat next to her.

"By the way, I'm Phil," his father said.

"Nice to meet you," Naomi said. Jay notice she smiled more.

"Aren't you a sweet thing," his father said. "I hope you like my wife cooking."

Naomi had a slight blush. Jay couldn't believe she was blushing.

His mother came with a maid carrying traits after trait. She set a plate in front of Naomi. Naomi looks down, inhaling in and out. Forgot she has a problem eating. And that's a lot of food.

Jay leaned over.

"You don't have to eat it all," he whispers. Naomi looked at him and nodded.

"So Naomi tells me, what are your plans after you graduate, I hope it's college," his father said. "Not like my son here, so decided to quit."

"Dad, college ain't for me," Jay said.

"My brother wants to send me to an art school," Jay ate, listening to her.

"Oh that's wonderful," his mother said. "See Jay you could learn from her."

"Mom," Jay was being embarrassed.

While they ate, his parents kept asking her questions after questions. Naomi answered them all.

"So your brother have any plans, for his restaurant?" His father asked.

"He wants to remodel it," Naomi took a bite of broccoli. Jay wrinkle his nose. Broccoli, his least favorite vegetables. Guess not everyone hates it.

"Well, if he needs help, I will gladly be happy to help out," Naomi nodded. "Now Molly, that cake smells good."

"Phil," his mother chuckled.

His mother cut up the cake. Lately, she's been doing pastries with strawberries. Jay believes, his mother doing it to gain Naomi trust and friendship which she's achieving. And Jay nothing.

"Here," she handed Naomi a small piece. "I'll put some away, so you'll take to your brother."

Naomi nodded and dug in. Since Naomi has been around him, Jay notices she eats more. Which is good or does she throw it back up at home? He'll have to know, somehow.

"So Naomi, I hope you have the good side of us, we aren't like all those snotty rich folks," mother said. "I make my meals; I do my laundry, I even work."

"Oh," Naomi looked at me.

"And I raise my son to be a good kid, not like them, but he had his downsides," Jay looked down. "And if I ever find out, he did something bad; I will be very disappointed in him. Are you listening, Jay."

"Yes," Jay mumble if only his mother knew what he had done to Naomi. His mother will yell at him, and his father will disown him.

"Good, now why don't you show Naomi around," Jay nodded. After they where finish eating, he led her around the house. Showing her various rooms. What caught her attention the most, was the library.

"Wow," she looked around. Going through the books cover. "So many books."

"Yup," Jay smiled, that she was interested in something. "Come on."

Naomi nodded and followed him upstairs. And into his room. His mother had kept his room intact. Since when his father retires, they plan on moving to Paris. They plan on passing the house over to him and his wife which he isn't planning on marrying anytime soon.

"Come in," Naomi didn't want to go in, he notices. "Naomi." He grabbed her hand dragging her in, and toward the balcony which looks out to the forest. One thing about where his home is. Is that it's near the woods and all of that belongs to his father. Their property is huge.

"Oh," he saw her smile. Her eyes were twinkling.

"Pretty right?" She nodded.

It's his chance to see why she wears sleeves all the time. Grabbing her wrists, he pushed her back inside. She struggles. Jay held on tight and eventually fell on the bed. He tried to pull her sleeves up, but she wouldn't budge.

"Naomi stop moving!" Jay yell. And she stops. Jay didn't mean to yell. But if yelling is the only way to make her listen, then he'll yell. "Good."

He grabbed her right arm and lifted her sleeve up. He looked at her arm. She had little cuts. They where faint scars. He looked at her.

"You cut yourself?" He asked her. Her eyes water. "Why?"

Jay is pushing her further away.
