Jay

His head was killing him. He woke up his head throbbed with pain. Getting up, he looked down. Naomi laid there. Jay sucked in air. The sight of Naomi wasn't something he liked. Her shirt was rolled up, showing the bottom of her breasts. And her panties where around one of her ankles. Her legs were closed, but he could see a white substance on her area and thighs.

"Naomi," Jay shook her. She stirs and woke up yawning. "What happened?" She sat up and looked down. Touching her thighs, she wrinkles her nose.

"You came in drunk while I was sleeping," she said. "And you were on me. But then you fell asleep."

"Sorry," Jay sighed. "I thought someone hurt you."

"No," Naomi stood up.

"Go shower," Jay told her. She nodded.

While she showers Jay went to the downstairs bathroom and shower there. How could Jay do that to her though she didn't sound scared? It doesn't matter though; Jay needed to be more careful with her. It's a good thing he came over her thighs because he isn't ready to be a father. Jay finished and waited for Naomi. He got worried when she didn't come downstairs. Jay went up and checked on her. She was on the floor.

"What's wrong?" Jay asked her kneeling down.

"Nothing," she smiled. Jay frowned and looked at her arms. No cuts. She's up to something. "My stomach hurts."

"That's all?" She nodded. Jay chuckled. "Don't scare me like that. I thought it was something serious."

"Sorry, it just hurts a lot," she said.

"Okay will give you something, maybe you been overeating," Jay said. "Come on." Jay helped her up and to bed. Jay hopes she won't get sick, because it would be terrible. A snowstorm was approaching. It's a good thing he bought food yesterday and other supplies.

Jay left her and went downstairs. He checked out the window. The wind was blowing, and snow fell hard. He made sure to close all the windows and door.

"Jay," Naomi came downstairs to hold a blanket around herself.

"Naomi why aren't you in bed," Jay pulled her close.

"I don't want to be alone," she said.

"Alright sit here then, I'll make something to eat," Naomi nodded, she sat down.

Jay went into the kitchen to make some food. Something light, something that she could eat without throwing it back out. He decided to make some lasagna. It isn't hard to make. And it's something he saw her eat before. As he cooks, his phone rang. Sighing he answer it.

"What Lin?" Jay answer frustrated.

"Bring her back," Lin said. "You any idea how bad the weather is up there."

"Wait, you know where we are don't you?" Jay asked.

"Yes, the cabin," Lin said. "Look the snowstorm is getting worse. You have to take Naomi back, Jared is really, angry."

"I can't it's already worse, I'm not risking it," Jay told her. "Tell Jared I'll take her home as soon as it passes, maybe."

"Jay," Lin sighed on the other line. "Just please don't do anything stupid and come home safe."

"Yeah," Jay looked up as he heard Cherry barked. "I'll talk to you later." He said and hinged up. He placed the lasagna in the oven and went to see why she was barking.

When he got there, he saw the front door open. And Cherry barking at it. Naomi wasn't here. He checked and saw her kneeling down.

"Naomi, what the hell you doing out here?" Jay asked her hauling her up. She held something. "Whats that?" Looking more closely, he saw it was a bunny. "Come on let's go back inside."

He led her back. She was shivering so much. Jay held her closer warming her up.

"What were you thinking?" Jay growled.

"I'm sorry," she shivered. "Just wanted the bunny."

"Well next time don't," Jay wrapped blankets around her. "Now stay here." She nodded.

Jay went and checked in the food. He waited for a few more minutes. Once it was ready, he serves a small portion for Naomi.

"Here you go," Jay places the plate on the coffee table. "Eat, well try to without throwing it up." Naomi nodded placing the bunny next to her. It didn't move just got closer to her. Sighing, Jay set his plate down and went to get drinks. He walked back and sat down. "Why the bunny?"

"I found her yesterday," she said. "Can I keep it?"

"Well, I guess so," Jay sighed. If it made her happy, Jay is willing to let her keep it. "Alright keep it." She smiled and ate. This time she didn't throw it up.

After they finish eating, Jay washed the dishes than they simpled relaxed and waited for the storm to pass. They cuddle together on the couch. Cherry and the bunny were under the coffee table.

"I want to see you fight," Naomi said. "Can I?"

"Yeah sure," Jay smiled. "Just don't tell your brother or anyone else."

"Okay I won't," she cuddle closer. Then the lights went off.

"I'll be back," Jay stood up and went to get some firewood. He also looked for some flashlights. He didn't know the storm would be this bad. Maybe it was a bad idea bringing her here. He placed the wood in the fireplace. Starting a fire, he sighed. It began to get cold in here. He went back to Naomi and led her toward the second living room. More like a family fun room. He had ser pillows and brought more blankets. They laid down. The bunny and Cherry follow behind and settle by their heads. "Better?"

"Yes," Naomi cuddle closer to him. He smiled and held her.

"The storm will pass soon," he hoped. "Naomi, that Kay guy, is he something to you. Something more?"

"No," she said. "Don't think Kay likes girls or boys. He had a tough childhood."

"Oh really?" Jay frowned.

"Yes, his father abused him, physically and emotionally," she sighed. "But he's getting through it. Soon he'll be 18 and will be able to make his own decisions and move out of foster care."

"I see," Jay felt bad now. He started a fight with a kid who had a rough time. "I'll apologize to him, once we get back."

"Okay," Jay kissed her.

Soon Naomi fell asleep. Jay got up carefully and walked up to the window he stared out. The wind was blowing. Snow covers everything. Jay called his mother. She answers on the second ring.

"Oh Jay, you better bring Naomi safe," his mother said. "The snowstorm is bad. Especially out there."

"Yes mother I know," Jay sighed. "I'll bring her home when the weather passes. I only brought her to the festival."

"Oh that's nice of you," his mother said. "But you should've had told us first."

"I know mother; I'm sorry okay," everyone seems to be against him. It's like he was the bad guy. He's trying his best to make things right. But it seems it will be difficult. Gripping the phone, Jay ran a hand through his hair. "I'll take her back home once the storm passes."

"Alright son," and the like went death. Jay looked down at the phone, no signal.

He walked back to Naomi and laid down. How can he be with her, if everyone around keeps getting in the way? He should kidnap her. It would be so much easier. But then again if he gets caught, he'll go to jail. What can he do? He'll figure it out along the way.

Somehow he'll manage to be with her. And get everyone else to leave them alone. Holding her close, he smiled. If only it were that easy.
