He woke up smiling as he stared at the blonde setter sleeping beside him.
Thrice a week or more, he and Atsumu would spend those nights cuddling. Oftentimes, they would go watch movie or animes until they both fell asleep on the couch.
It was always a happy thought and memory. He cherishes those moments. Atsumu was a special kind of friend who always willing to listen to him and his rants.
He smiled as he wrapped his arms around Atsumu and buried his face on the setter's chest.
Bokuto Koutaro entered the room aiming to wake both his teammates.
"HEY! HEY! HEY" he yelled ear breakingly.
He brought out his phone and took photos of the two players lying on the bed.
"Bokkun... Stop it!" Atsumu mumbled, eyea still closed. He was awake, but he enjoys the warmth of the other player beside him so he decided to pretend sleeping.
But with all the clicking of Bokuto's camera, the setter reacted. He knew that the spiker would post these photos on their GC again, and they would need to explain to the team that they are not dating-- again.
"We're gettin' up now, Bokkun... Let's go, Shoyo-kun." Atsumu sat at the bed, before shaking Hinata up.
"You two really looks cute together, you know that, right, Atsumu?" Meian commented as he stared at the pictures sent by Bokuto earlier
"Mutual understandin' is different from datin'" the faux blonde answered smirking.
"Shoyo-kun and I are friends--"
"With Benefits... Friends with benefits." Inumaki joined in.
"Nah... Just friends." Atsumu corrected, as he started warming up.
"But do you like something more than that, Tsumu?" Thomas asked as he stood from the bench looking at how the setter was stretching.
"What do ya mean? I don't..." the setter asked eyes still busy looking at someone.
"But you looked in love with Hinata, TsumTsum..." Bokuto said as he noticed Atsumu staring at the orange-head who is busy doing push ups at the far end of the gym.
"'m not..."
"Obviously, you are." Sakusa chimed in as he side glanced the setter. He was there just listening earlier, but wasn't able to hold his comment any longer.
"Omi-kun... How'd ya even know that?!" Atsumu asked as he chuckled slightly.
"Have ya been in love already?"
"I don't need reference to tell that you are stupidly interested at someone." the spiker replied with a smug expression.
It was replaced with disgust as the setter answered.
"Are ya jealous?"
Everyone laughed at Sakusa's facial expression, and Kiyoomi just replied after a minute or two.
"Are you out of your head?"
"What? 'm just askin'. Fer ya to say that 'm out of my head, ya better check yer responses, Omi-kun"
"I don't need to do that... You are just the only one giving stupid assumptions about it." Sakusa countered back.
"Oh yeah?!" Atsumu continued with raised brow and a glare to Sakusa
"Now... Now... before this turns into a disaster, let's start the practice!" Meian announced breaking the tension between Sakusa and Atsumu.
During the practice, anything that happened earlier doesn't matter anymore. Sakusa and Atsumu still played as one of the team's best combo and the two could also be seen smiling at each other, a way in which they praise each other.
