Just a quick fyi, if you have noticed an error in dates in this chapter I do apologise. There's a part where I mention Faith's birthday/ the day her mother died and I don't believe that I have brought them up before in the story and there's a lot to look through to try figure it out but if I have and they don't match what I have written in this chapter, please go with this chapter because it is fundamental to the story line. Thank youuu!

I squeezed the last of the conditioner out of my hair before switching off the shower and grabbing my towel. It was late at night but I wasn't able to sleep, I could barely stand in the same vicinity as Sam, let alone sleep in it.

The bathroom was steamy and I walked across the condensated floor over to the sink so that I could brush my teeth. I reached for my toothbrush and began the process whilst simultaneously wiping the steam away from the mirror. My breath was caught in my throat as I saw a dark figure standing behind me and I span around crashing into the sink, knocking down the toiletries but there was nothing and no one there. After a few shaky breaths in and readjustment of my towel I turned back around and rinsed my mouth out, then dried off and changed into some shorts and a T-shirt. By the time I got back into bed with Dean, my strange encounter was long forgotten. Until I fell asleep.

"Faith."

I was standing in blackness, there was nothing around me but black and the voice that spoke out. "Faith, you need to let me in."

"Who's there!" I span around but again all I could see was darkness. My heart increased in my chest and I could feel my hands begin to shake as I started to run, trying to find my way out of this never ending night.

"You already know who I am."

I stopped, wrapping my arms around myself. "Get out of my head!"

My breathing was becoming heavier and heavier, fear consuming me from deep inside. "It's time for you to come home. To me."

"WHO ARE YOU!" I screamed, feeling more and more panicked with every passing minute.

"You already know."

I started spinning again, trying to look around me but all I could see was black. I couldn't even see my own arms, my own body. It was just endless darkness and it paralysed me with fear, not only because I didn't know where I was but because something hidden inside of me was telling me that I did.

"It's time to come back Faith. We must be together again."

"Show yourself!" I tried to sound stern but every atom inside of me was vibrating with fright.

"Not yet. But you will see me soon."

I tried to run again but I felt weightless, like I was running in air and then I could see something- something bright and blue. The blue ray of spiritual light.

His eyes.

"FAITH?"

I sat up quickly, sweat dripping from my forehead as I panted, my mind still tripping over the blackness of my nightmare. Whose eyes were they? What was the blue ray of spiritual light? Why did my knees hurt?

"My knees?" I groaned as I looked down at them, they were cut up from the gravel beneath me. Gravel? I was sitting on the far side of the parking lot of our motel. "How did I get here?" I lifted my hands which were also grazed and sore.

"Faith- Are you okay?" Dean ran over to me from the motel. "I've been looking for you for twenty minutes, what are you doing out here?" He crouched down to me and lifted me up, I was still so confused, so disoriented.
