Kelly's POV

Erica had left not long after as she needed to go pick up Henry from school, but not before we both exchanged phone numbers.

I had a couple of hours before I planned to pick Ezra up, so I headed to his room to actually finish what I started, he still had toys that need to be put away and anything the no longer needs or plays with was to be placed in storage if it was sentimental or the to be donated.

I packed the donation box up and it was ready to take to a nearby charity shop on my way to pick Ezra up.

As I carried the box out and grabbed my car keys to leave I heard my phone buzz in my pocket as I place the box down and see it was a message from Matt "Mollys tonight? Me and Brett have some news we want to share" his message says as I quickly reply "yeah, I'll be there, I'll head straight over once I've picked Ezra up" I reply back and put my phone away as I head out the loft and down to my car.

I place the box in the passenger seat as I take my phone out, tapping it a couple of times as I contemplate what I'm about to do. "Fuck it" I say as I go onto Erica's number and start texting her

"Hey it's Kelly, You free again tonight?" I just send to her as I lock my phone and start the car.

The donation box dropped off  make it to Ezra's day care right in time for when I told them I'll pick him up, I go and sign him out as I wait for one of the staff to bring him out.

I see the door open and immediately come face to face with Ezra's grinning face as he spots me "dada!" He squeals bouncing in the staff members arms "hey bud...have you had fun" I ask him taking him from the staffs arms.

He cuddles into me tightly as I wrap my arms around him "he's been trying to take his first steps today, he will be running around this place in no time" the staff member tells me rubbing Ezra's back as I look at him "way to go champ...although I'm not looking forward to have to run after him" I say chuckling as I kiss his cheek.

"Well I guess we will see you tomorrow" she tells me as I nod "yep bright an early, as daddy has to go to work again" I say as I turn away and head out the day care.

When I've strapped Ezra into his seat I hear my phone buzz in the front as I shut the door and get in the drivers seat and grab my phone unlocking it and seeing the message was from Erica "wow missing me already are you? 😂 joking, I'd love to but we will have to keep it PG I have the kids with me if that's okay?" The message reads as I chuckle and reply back

"Something like that yeah...I just wanted to see if you wanted to join me in going to Mollys bar in about half an hour, don't worry the kids are fine I take Ezra all the time, its a nice family friendly bar owned by a couple of friends I work with" I send her the message then start the car.

"Hey monkey, shall we go see uncle hermy and co" I ask looking behind me at Ezra as he giggles, kicking his arms and legs "take that as a yes" I say as I turn back to the front and start heading towards Mollys.

Once I arrive I go round and take Ezra out the car carrying him on my hip as I head inside. I see Brett and Matt over at the bar talking to Herman as I walk over to them "so what's this news you wanted to tell me?" I ask them as they turn around and smile "hey, you came" Matt says hugging me as Brett comes over to take Ezra from me twirling around with him "there's my favourite little boy" she says as she goes and sits at the kids corner Herman decided to put in to help get me to Mollys more.
