I roamed around the house, rummaging for something, and stumbled upon a library. Pulling out my phone, I tapped on Mel's contact and quickly texted, "Sorry, can't make it today. Next week?" After sending the message, I began browsing through the books when I heard my name being called out in distress.

"Y/N!" the voice cried out.

"I'm in here!" I shouted back, my heart pounding. Chris burst into the room, looking sweaty and worried. "I've been looking all over for you," he said, relief evident in his voice.

He said, his eyes glinting with a hint of madness, "Oh, I was just snooping around."

I replied casually, "Snooping, huh?" as he regarded me with an unknowing expression before chuckling to himself.

"You... you make me have really bad thoughts," he admitted, his tone tinged with a mixture of fascination and uncertainty.

"Bad thoughts?" I echoed, raising an eyebrow inquisitively.

"Yes, very bad thoughts... Anyway, it's time to eat," he declared, abruptly changing the subject.

"Great," I responded with a hint of sarcasm, and we both settled down at the table to eat. Once we finished our meal, we decided to watch a movie. As the movie played, I couldn't help but notice his hand resting on my thigh, sending a chill down my spine.

In the end, he stood up and began to take off his clothes, revealing his chiseled abdominal muscles.

"Hey, you can't just undress in front of me," I protested, turning away, despite having seen his physique before.

"Why not? You've seen it all before. It's nothing new," Chris replied, sounding puzzled by my reaction to his chiseled form.

"Still," I countered, feeling flustered.

"Alright, alright," he conceded with a shrug of his broad shoulders.

"You seem to be preoccupied with thoughts," I observed, forcing myself to not looking at his abs flexing as he spoke.

"yeah... mainly hiding how hard i was during the movie" he said,

I nearly choked on my words. "So... have you heard anything about Mel?" I asked awkwardly, trying to steer the conversation away from his state of undress.

"No, not really," he replied nonchalantly, as if he hadn't just said something incredibly strange by undressing in front of me.

After we finished eating, I made my way back to the library, eager to immerse myself in the familiar surroundings and hopefully clear my mind of the unsettling encounter.
