(Christian POV)

After a good long day, I realized that there were still some loose ends to tie up. The sun had set, casting long shadows across the room, and the house was finally quiet. I waited until she went to sleep, her breathing steady and calm, before slipping out of bed.

The night was cool, and the air felt crisp against my skin as I made my way to the meeting spot.

Jake was already there, leaning against his car with a smug look on his face. His arrogance was palpable, and it made my blood boil. He straightened up as I approached, holding up a small flash drive between his fingers.

"So, I have everything on this little flash drive, and your whole little relationship—" he started, but I tuned him out. It was almost amusing how he thought he had the upper hand.

Funny, he really thinks she doesn't know about me, I thought to myself, chuckling darkly. My mind raced with violent thoughts.

Who does he think he is?

Trying to come between us.

Y/N is MINE.

I'll make him regret ever crossing me.

Jake's rant continued, his voice grating on my nerves. I clenched my fists, feeling the anger rise within me. The flash drive was more than just a minor inconvenience now; it was a threat that needed to be eliminated.

I imagined crushing it beneath my heel, along with Jake's smug face.

"Jake," I interrupted, my voice low and menacing, "you really think this changes anything?" He looked taken aback, his confidence wavering for a moment. "She knows about us. She has always known. This little game of yours is not just pointless, it's dangerous."

His face twisted in confusion and anger. "You're lying," he spat, but there was a hint of fear in his eyes. I stepped closer, my gaze boring into his. I could feel the rage pulsing through my veins, urging me to lash out, to silence him permanently.

"Believe what you want," I said, my voice barely above a whisper, "but this ends tonight. And if you ever try to threaten us again, you'll regret it." I reached out and snatched the flash drive from his hand. He flinched, finally realizing the gravity of the situation.

Good.

He should be afraid.

He has no idea what I'm capable of.

Jake's bravado crumbled, replaced by a look of panic. "You can't do this," he stammered, backing away. "I'll tell everyone about you, about what you really are!"

I laughed, the sound cold and humorless. "Go ahead, Jake. Who do you think they'll believe? The respected member of the community or the jealous friend who can't let go?" I stepped closer, my voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "Remember, I know things about you too. Things you wouldn't want anyone to find out."

Jake's face paled, and he stumbled back, nearly tripping over his own feet. "You're crazy," he muttered, his voice shaking.

"No, Jake," I replied, my tone eerily calm. "I'm just protecting what's mine. Now, go home. And if I ever see you near her again, this conversation will seem like a pleasant memory compared to what will happen."

He stormed towards me, his finger jabbing accusingly in my direction. My mind screamed for me to grab that finger and break it, to make him suffer for daring to threaten what was mine.

"You think you've won? You're delusional!" Jake shouted, his voice echoing in the empty street. "I'm going to tell Y/N everything. Every. Single. Detail. And when she hears the truth, she'll come running into my arms!"

I felt my jaw clench, my patience wearing thin. "Jake, I've warned you. This is your last chance to walk away."

You pathetic fool.

You have no idea who you're dealing with.

Y/N will never be yours.

She belongs to me, and only me.

But Jake was beyond reason. He got in my face, spittle flying as he yelled, "You can't intimidate me! Y/N deserves to know what kind of monster she's with. And when she does, she'll see you for what you really are!"

Something snapped inside me. The calm facade I'd been maintaining crumbled, replaced by a cold, calculated fury. I grabbed Jake by the collar, pulling him close. My mind raced with visions of violence, of silencing him once and for all.

"You've made your choice," I growled, my voice low and dangerous. "I gave you every opportunity to let this go, but you just couldn't help yourself, could you?"

Jake's eyes widened, fear finally breaking through his anger. He tried to pull away, but my grip was iron.

Yes, be afraid.

You should have known better than to challenge me.

"What are you going to do?" he stammered, his bravado evaporating.

I smiled, but there was no warmth in it. "I'm going to do what I should have done from the beginning. You want to play games, Jake? Fine. Let's play."

I released him, and he stumbled backward, nearly falling.

"Go home, Jake. Enjoy your last night of peace. Because tomorrow, I'm going through with my plan. And trust me, you're going to wish you'd never tried to come between us."

As Jake scrambled back to his car, I watched him drive away, my mind already racing with the details of what needed to be done. Y/N was mine, and I would do whatever it took to keep it that way. No loose ends this time.

No more warnings. Jake had sealed his fate, and I was more than ready to be the architect of his downfall. I'll make him disappear. No one will ever come between us again.

Y/N is mine, forever, and I'll destroy anyone who tries to take her from me.
