SAVYS' POV

Rest day ko. Walang pasok ngayon, and wala akong schedule. So nandito lang ako sa sala making a miniature dress para sa proposal ko next week.
The school will have it's annual Fashion Week next month and lahat kami in my course are required to submit for our entry. Syempre madaming dadalo sa event na yon, Outside investors and maging ang mga kilalang designer. It's actually our chance to show off kasi next year, we will apply for an internship.
So it will help us to build up our own names in the industry.

"Couz, I'm curious lang ha. Kayo na ba ni Jho?" Nalipat ang atensyon ko kay Ate Aliah na nakaupo sa harapan ko

"No, why?" Sagot ko dito

Kumunot ang noo nito na para bang may iniisip

"Bakit hindi pa? ilang months na ba kayong ganyan. Pero wala pa ding label?" Tanong nito saken

She's referring to our situationship siguro. If that's the term the kabataan is using right now.

I'm wondering too, to be honest. Like, nung time na umamin ako, sabi lang ni Jho saken. Wag daw naming madaliin. Tama naman sya. Baka nadadala lang kami sa nararamdan namin that time. Pero that's not the case for us. I really love Jho. Sure na ako doon.

She's been treating me so well. Handling me so well. Wala na akong maiireklamo sa kanya. She can match my energy. She can be as energetic as I am and as quiet when I need time and space lalo na kapag nai-stress ako sa work and studies. She understands me the most. Kapag nagagalit ako, she will try to find out the reason and fix it. And mind if i tell you. She's really good at it.

Pero bakit nga, it's been 3 months already and hindi pa kami.

"Couz, to be honest. I'm wondering too. Pero kilala ko si Jho. She's maybe waiting for the perfect timing. Ayaw nya ng biglaan" paliwanag ko dito

Itinukod nya ang siko sa armrest. At ipinatong sa kamay nya ang baba na parang nag iisip

"Hmmm, anyways, napapadalas ata hang out ng magbabarkada. Nagseselos na ko" biglang change topic nito

Totoo naman. Lately, they've been going out a lot. Nagpapaalam naman. And I trust them maliban na lang kapag iinom kasi ang lala malasing nung dalawa (Mikha and Cole). Pero kapag matinong hang out naman, like going somewhere for something. Wala naman akong say.

"Kaya ka nandito e, namimiss mo lang si Mikhs" sabi ko dito

Ate Aliah occasionally visits me here, natigil lang nung nagka Jho na. Tapos sya nagka Mikha. Kapag hindi sya nakakapunta, ako minsan ang napunta sa kanila.

"I miss hanging out with you too. Nilubos ko lang kasi wala sila" sabi pa nito

"Too bad, we can't go out now. I have to do something" sabi ko dito, referring to my miniature dress project

"That's okay Couz, We can hang out like this. I have to finish my papers din. Malapit na submission" sabi nito

Pumunta sya sa bag nya at kinuha yung tablet nya. And started working on her paper

"Couz, alam mo. You should visit Tita na" napatingin ako kay Couz when she says that

Its been a year na din nung last bisita ko kay Mommy sa New York. We call sometimes pero konting oras lang kasi nga, parehas kaming busy sa work. Nababanggit ko sa kanya si Jho nung mag kaibigan pa lang kami. She even told me that I should bring her sometime. Pero kasi, wala talagang time.

Napasandal ako sa sofa

"Yeah, i miss mom. This sem break siguro. Uuwi ako" sabi ko pa dito

"You should, sama ako kapag wala kaming ganap ng fam" sabi pa nito

I just nodded and continued working

"Should I bring Jho? Papayag kaya yon?"

"Couz, graduating na kayo next Sem right? Anong plano mo?"

Tumigil ito sa pagtatype. At ngumuso saken

"Siguro, will build a business or pwede ding mag work ako sa company ni Dad, not sure pa eh" sabi nito

"Oo nga no, you have a lot of options"

We'll, 4th year na sina Ate Aliah, Cole and Gian. Gragraduate din naman e. Charot.

"Eh ikaw couz. I know you have a year pa. Pero plano mo ba sumunod kay Tita?" Tanong nito saken

Actually, hindi ko pa alam ang plano ko sa buhay. May options ako. Ituloy dito from scratch. Or pumunta sa ibang bansa and make a name there with the help of my mom.

"I mean, magandang starting point ang Paris or New York. You'll be with your mom pa. I thought, that's your plan" sabi pa nito

Yeah. She was right. That was my plan before Jho. Kaya busy ako pagbubuild up ng modeling career ko. It's a long term process but it'll help me build connection na need ko to survive here. Di sapat ang talent lang. I need to have both talent and connection.

"Well, love happens" dugtong pa nito

Reading whatever is going on in my mind. Inirapan ko lang sya at nagpatuloy sa pag gugupit ng tela

"I was right" Sabi pa nito bago ulit bumalik sa paggagawa ng papers nya.

Bumukas yung pinto. Jho is back with a bouquet of flowers on her right hand. And a paper bag in her left hand. Smiling at me widely.

I run like a kid and hug her na ikinatawa nya naman

Iniabot nito saken ang bulaklak.

"Thank youuuu" sabi ko dito and gave her a kiss on the cheek

"Ang landi" rinig kong comment ni Ate Aliah mula sa sofa.

Saka lang napansin ni Jho na may ibang tao sa condo

"Hi Ate Aliah, alam ba ni Mikhs na nandito ka" sabi ni Jho kay Couz at lumapit pa dito para makipag beso

"Nope, and hindi ako nagsabi na umalis ako. Hehe" proud na sabi ni Couz

Jho laughed at her. That's when Aliah's phone rings

She shows us the caller. Yeah, the one and only Mikha Lim

"Hi Babi, you home na?" Bati ni Aliah dito

She'll probably annoy Mikha bago sabihin na nandito sya. Favorite nya yon, pikunin si Mikha.

Jho went near me and hug me from the back. Nasa counter kasi ako. Inilalabas yung dala nyang food from the paper bag.

"I miss you" bulong nito

Gosh. It's tickles. Kinilabutan pa ako. What the.

"Ang landi nyo. Uuwi na ko. Mukhang gusto nyo na magsolo e" sabi ni Couz na nagmamadaling ilagay sa bag yung gamit nya. Parang nagliligpit ng basura kung mailagay e

"Couz, Thanks pala. Alis na ko. Bye. Enjoy kayo" sabi pa nito bago lumabas ng condo

Jho just laugh at her

"Heeeeey" When Aliah's gone

Jho pulled me again and hug me.

"Jho, miss mo ko no. Hindi halata" pang aasar ko dito

"Hmmm, let's stay like this muna. Pa charge muna" and I let her
