Y/n's POV
"I need a favor." I spoke over the phone, it was around 12 am when I had called, and I was surprised they had picked up in the first place. "Y/n why are you-"
"You owe me Cameron." I told her, I could hear her sigh on the other end. "Fine, what is it?" She finally asked.
I told her the whole situation with Shane and Regina. "You want me to put someone in jail?!" She asked in a panicked voice. "It doesn't have to be you." I shrugged. "Could be someone else that you hire."
"Y/n-"
"Cameron. I want him gone, you ruined my life, I had to move schools for crying out loud! This is the one thing I ask of you." God I love manipulating toxic people. "You know what fine." Cameron agreed.
"Good, he's gone by the end of the month." I stated.
"The end of the month Y/n that's-" Before she could finish, I hung up, glad that my plan had worked.
"Y/n?" A voice spoke out from the bed. I turned to see Regina, sitting up slightly, half asleep still. "Sorry, did I wake you?" I asked, returning to the bed."No it's fine, I just felt that you weren't there anymore." She explained, I smiled softly to myself before Regina spoke again. "Who were you on the phone with?" The blonde asked. I didn't wanna tell her that I was planning to send Shane to jail, not yet at least. "My cousin, he lives in California so it was about 10 pm for him, he likes to call and check up on me from time to time."
Regina seemed to believe my response, as she lied back down, falling asleep almost instantly.
~~~
I hated mornings. I much preferred night time, when everyone is asleep and you're just alone with your own thoughts, it's nice.
However I particularly liked this morning. Why? Because I got to wake up to Regina. Before I opened my eyes I felt her lazily, and softly, tracing her finger along the sides of my face, as if she was trying to memorize it.
So, I pretended to still be asleep, to experience this a little more. "You're not very good at pretending to be asleep." Regina laughed. I smiled, but didn't open my eyes. "Open your eyes, look at me." The blonde ordered, I did as told.
She smiled at me, and placed a soft peck to my lips, before getting off of me. "I should get going." She stated, her face faltering a bit. "Why? You can stay if you'd like."
"I know, it's just uhm, my parents are probably worried." She expressed. My mouth formed an O shape as I nodded. She started grabbing some of her things, including her halloween costume.
We both walked downstairs and I saw my mom, watching the news and drinking coffee. She turned to look at us. "Y/n, you didn't tell me you brought someone over." She smiled, Regina shot me a panicked look. "Oh yeah, she was drunk and I didn't want her to be alone." Guilt rushed through me as I said those words. I had left her alone
"That's very kind of you Y/n, what's your name dear." My mom asked Regina. The blonde walked over to my mom and extend her arm. "I'm Regina." She stated, an awkward smile on her face.
"Nice to meet you Regina." My mom smiled back.
I walked Regina home, since she ran here. "I'll see you Monday?" I asked, once we arrived to her house. "Yeah, see you Monday!" Regina agreed, walking up to her front door. I stayed to make sure she got inside safely, then I walked back home.
I was definitely gonna remember this.
