Reginas POV
176 the scale reads. Those Kalteen bars Cady gave me aren't working at all!! I NEVER WEIGH MORE THEN 115!!
I immediately rush to my families gym and hop on the treadmill. I start to run angrily, the adrenaline coursing through me.
~~~
I'm still on the treadmill, I've been running for hours and my legs are sore, my entire body aches but I can't stop. I refuse to stop.
There was a knock at the door, and suddenly my mom came in. "Regina honey, dinners ready."
"I'm not hungry." I told her blankly, trying to stay as focused as possible. "You've been in here for hours, don't you think it's time to take a break?" She asks me.
I shake my head no and keep running. I hear her let out a worried sigh as she starts to exit the room.
I can still feel her presence and before I can say anything she speaks up again. "What are you doing with a Kalteen bar?" She asks.
"My friend gave it to me to help me loose weight." I explained to her. She took an uncomfortably long pause. "Clearly she's not a real friend, we gave these to your grandma when she was sick to help her gain weight."
I stopped the treadmill.
"What?" I snarled out.
"They make you gain weight." My mom repeated. I turned to look at her. "Get out." I told her, and she didn't argue. She set the Kalteen bar down and left.
I wanted to scream, cry, throw up, all of the above? I ultimately just started to bawl my eyes out. Reaching for my phone to call Y/n. "You were right!" I cried into the phone. "Right about what?" She asked, very concerned.
"Those stupid fucking Kalteen bars make me gain weight!"
"Oh baby...I'm so sorry." She sympathized, god how could I be so stupid? I should've just listened to her in the first place! I blindly trusted Cady over my own girlfriend?
"I'm just gonna hope for the best at school tomorrow." I told her, Y/n hummed over the phone in agreement. After a moment of silence, Y/n cleared her throat and began to talk again."do you want me to come over?" She asked, trying to make me feel better.
I thought for a moment. "No not today, I just wanna be alone right now."
"Ok baby." Was all she said, I sighed loudly.
"I'm gonna go now, but I'll talk to you tomorrow?"
"For sure." She said, before hanging up the phone. After contemplating for a bit, I decided it would just be best to take a shower and get some rest.
I needed to clear my mind, and just relax. School was gonna be hell either way so I might as well be prepared...I guess.
