Y/n's POV
I texted my mom on the way to detention the I would be home a bit later. She hasn't responded yet, so hopefully she's ok with it.
When I entered the detention room, I immediately saw Regina and took a seat next to her. "Hey," she whispered to me, a soft, almost unnoticeable smile on her face. "Sorry, I shouldn't be talking to a future convict."
She instantly turned to me, a look of shock and confusion on her face. It took everything in me not to burst out laughing. "Ladies! No talking!" The teacher watching us yelled.
To "entertain" us, the teacher put on some educational TV as she calls it. Which was just the news. She had her back turned to us as she watched the news like it was SpongeBob or something.
Detention was boring, so I just went on my phone under the desk. "Should I post on insta?" I asked Regina in a low tone. She snorted a bit. "Why?" The blonde asked. "I don't know, I'm bored." She shrugged and told me to do whatever I wanted too.
I hate detention fr

I showed Regina the post as she only, rolled her eyes and smiled.

When the bell finally rang, signaling that detention was over, I started my walk home. "Are you walking home?" Regina asked me.
I sighed. "Sadly, I am." I laughed a bit.
"Ugh, my poor baby, come on, I'll drive you home." I smiled, at the girl, and got into her pink jeep.
When we were stopped at a red light, Regina pulled out some sort of a bar I've never heard of before and took a bite. "What is that?" I asked the girl.
"Oh this?" She gestured to the bar. "It's a Kalteen bar, it'll help me loose weight."
I rolled my eyes at her. "Regina, you don't need to loose weight." I paused for a moment. "And how do you know those even work, the ingredients are all in Swedish and stuff."
The blonde simply shrugged me off. "I don't know, but Cady said everyone in Africa can read Swedish," I looked at her confused, before she continued. "Cady reads Swedish and she said it'll help me loose weight." The girl explained.
"Uhm ok then..?" I trailed off.
Regina pulled into my driveway, as I got out. "Think about what you're gonna wear to the spring fling!" She yelled before driving off. I laughed to myself, grabbing my keys and entering the house.
My mom was in the kitchen making dinner. "Detention Y/n? Seriously?"
Oh for fucks sake!
I sighed, putting my backpack down. "Sorry.." I mumbled. "It's ok, I'm not mad, just disappointed, I expect better from you."
I nodded. "I know."
She let out an annoyed sigh. "Now go wash up for dinner!"
