Again, I apologize for this being ridiculously late. I had about a third of it written like forever, but I completely neglected my one shots fir the longest time. Anywho, this is the long overdue one shot requested by JohnnyChhun

"We've done it!"

 "Aw, hell yeah baby!"

 "I can't believe we're finally here!"

"We're going off to college, can you believe it?"

[y/n] didn't even try to stop a huge grin from spreading across his face. The whooping and hollering could be heard from all places in the auditorium, which was to be expected- it was graduation, after all. Parents and students alike were scattered across the giant room, but [y/n] knew exactly where most of his friends were.

"Hey!" Eren yelled suddenly, voice rising above the crowd. "Graduation party at my house tonight!" He was answered with wild cheers and catcalls, and [y/n] smiled again. The party was going to be fun, especially if everybody came.

Many students he knew were worried about leaving behind their friends and families to head off to college. [y/n], luckily, didn't have to worry about that- he and all of his friends were headed to a small community college nearby, where they would at least spend a couple more years together before heading off into the great unknown of the world.

He was broken out of his momentary reverie by a rough poke in his arm.

"Oi! [y/n]!" the pretty young woman said, crossing her arms. "You'd better be going to Eren's party."

"Well duh, Ryuko," [y/n] said with a laugh. "You can't really expect me to miss it. After all, you'll be there won't you?"

She flushed slightly but covered her embarrassment with a bout of raucous laughter. "You got that right! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Ryuko picked distastefully at the scarlet dress she now wore, which matched the red streaks in her hair. "Besides, I need to get out of this damned thing."

Before he could reply he was separated from Ryuko by the shifting crowds. That was the thing with this many people gathered in one place- you could never hold a conversation with any one person for long. [y/n] adjusted his tie as he strolled in the vague direction of the exit, not really trying to get there quickly but hoping to make at least minuscule progress towards his final destination.

This time he was distracted by a light tap on his shoulder. Turning around with a smile, [y/n] already knew who it was. Sinon, the beautiful teal haired girl who now wore a strapless turquoise dress that matched her hair.

"Hey Sinon," he said, grinning widely. "Were Kirito and Asuna as lovey dovey during the ceremony as you said they would be?"

She grinned, twirling a lock of her hair. "Yup. I swear, if their parents weren't right there they totally would have been making out. And [y/n], I told you to just call me Shino!" Sinon pouted, biting her lip. [y/n] laughed.

"Sorry... Sinon." Ignoring her playful glare, he continued to talk. "So are you going to Eren's party tonight? I know Ryuko and Mako are, and probably Kaito and Gumi and Yuuma. Miku, Luka, and the Thompson sisters are holding their own little party, and otherwise who knows?"

Sinon just shrugged good naturedly. "Well Natsu and Lucy are coming for sure, and I'm pretty sure the Elric brothers and Winry are coming. Al's not graduated yet but his brother wanted him to go."

He nodded, waving to Sinon as he started walking in the opposite direction. "I'll see you at the party, then!" [y/n] was too far away to hear her reply, but the girl sounded cheerful enough. Laughing, he made his way over to his family.

This was going to be quite a bit of fun.

 *. *. *. *. *.

Hours later [y/n] found himself dancing in Eren's basement with a fair few of his friends. He didn't know who's phone was hooked up to the boom box stereo in the corner, but whomever it was apparently had pretty good taste in music- it was good old (favorite music genre). Not really paying too much attention to anything else [y/n] just let his body move with the beat.

Before he really knew it, though, the young man's eyes were drawn across the room to where Ryuko stood, arguing good naturedly with Gray. She sipped some of the punch- [y/n] was fairly certain that it was spiked), and tossed her red streaked hair over her shoulder, laughing boisterously as she did so. Dressed only in her usual midriff baring shirt and skirt, she looked just as roughly pretty as ever.

Then [y/n] found himself looking for Sinon. It didn't take him long to find the turquoise haired girl, considering that she was currently the one attempting to become a human ping pong ball (a.k.a. She was jumping from side to side of the ping pong table, interfering as Kaito and Jean played), Her face lit up in an expression of bright glee, [y/n] was suddenly aware of just how attractive she was.

Of just how attractive both she and Ryuko were, if he was being honest with himself.

The only problem was that both beautiful girls were completely different in looks and personality. Besides, as far as he knew they considered him as nothing more than a friend, a brother, perhaps. Either way he wasn't good at reading girls (really, who was?), and didn't want to ruin any of his friendships.

Was that his imagination, or had he caught Ryuko glancing at him before looking away with flushed cheeks?

[y/n] laughed, taking the hand of the nearest girl (who happened to be Gumi) as the music changed to a partner dance. He could have asked Ryuko or Sinon to dance, or course, but then that would ruin all of the fun. In any case, it wasn't like he had to hurry. Considering that they were all going to FC College for at least a year or two, he'd have plenty of time to figure them out, maybe even ask them on a date or two.

The future really could bring anything, couldn't it?

But for now, at least, [y/n] would focus his attention on the equally attractive girl right in front of him.
