Spider-Man arrived at the scene to see what looked like a flying Green Goblin throwing grenades all over the place.
"Out am I?!" The Green Goblin laughed as he threw another grenade, expecting an explosion, only to hear nothing of the sort.
"Sir, please land your weird skateboard, put the pumpkin down and step away from the board!" Spiderman said, hoping to try and diffuse the situation.
A pumpkin bomb flew at Spider-Man who dodged it and used his webs to fling it 150ft into the sky.
The Goblin let out sneer before flying at Spider-Man who ducked under and webbed the back of the board, holding onto the web as he was pulled through the air, doing his best to hold on, he ran on buildings while holding on to the web, until the Goblin drew a knife and cut the rope, sending Spider-Man falling hundreds of feet. He caught himself with a web to the two buildings either side of him before sling-shotting himself towards the goblin, Spider Man webbed the underside of the board and held on as the Goblin tried to shake him.
"Young man I will pull this board over right now!" Spider-Man quipped as he saw a billboard. "Oh, come on!"
He climbed up the web and avoided the billboard he swung up into the air before he went to try and web the goblin only to see a pumpkin bomb fly from the goblins hand and towards a crowd of children boarding a school bus.
Immediately Spider-Man let himself fall towards the children and landed next to them.
"Get inside, get inside!" Spider-Man yelled as he started webbing the pumpkin bomb over and over again to try and cocoon it in webbing before slinging it into the air, watching it explode. He looked up at the explosion. He turned to see the Goblin was gone.
Spider-Man leapt into the air and began to swing off back to the compound, landing on the roof and using the fire escape. As he walked into the lab he let out a sigh he began to repair his singed costume.
"I saw the news. You okay?" Kates voice said over Y/N's shoulder as he nodded reluctantly.
"Always." Y/N said as Kate shook her head.
"Do you need anything? Can I help? A shoulder to lean on?" Kate asked as Y/N shook his head. Kate simply nodded and gave Y/N a chaste kiss on the cheek before turning to leave.
"Wait... I could really do with a friend right now."
Kate nodded with a gentle look on her face.
"I'll put a movie on, you can join me when you're ready." Kate said kindly as she embraced Y/N before leaving the lab.
Y/N turned to his singed suit and sighed.
"Crap." Y/N muttered to himself as he went back to repairing his suit...
