As the weeks went by, Benny and Lexy grew more confident in their roles as parents. One evening, after the babies had been put to bed, they sat together on the porch, watching the sunset.
"Can you believe how much our lives have changed?" Lexy asked, leaning her head on Benny's shoulder.
"It's amazing," Benny replied, kissing her forehead. "I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world."
