The police were called, and Alejandro was arrested for attempted assault. Lori-Anne, shaken but resolute, decided that she couldn't stay in a marriage that had turned violent. She filed for divorce the next day and sought full custody of baby David.
In the days that followed, the family rallied around Lori-Anne. Emma, Benny, Lexy, and even little Isabella offered their support and comfort. They knew this was a tough time for her, but they were determined to help her through it.
Austin, his protective instincts still on high alert, sat with Lori-Anne one evening. "You did the right thing, sweetheart," he said softly, holding her hand. "No one has the right to hurt you."
