She had arrived home nearly half an hour ago, but the shock hadn't worn off. Something strange was happening to her, and she feared she might go insane if he didn't clarify Sameera's claim that they were dating. The situation was a choas. He had said that he wasn't into one-night stands or casual flings, yet she had found protection in his car, which made her suspect that he was seeing Sameera again. Now, Sameera claimed he had told her they were dating. And she might have happily played the role of his fake girlfriend in front of Sameera if she hadn't discovered the protection in his car and now she had no wish to associate her name with him after knowing that he was planning to be, or had already been, with another woman .

She was unable to let it eat her any longer and decided to confront him face-to-face instead of over the phone. It was 9:30, and she decided to go straight to his place.Anger and hurt was taking over her she couldn't fully process what she felt. He hadn't technically betrayed her, yet she felt betrayed and cheated.

"Laxmi masi ,I will be back in 20/30 minutes, aap so jaana" she said and berged out of her apartment and straightaway went to his floor.

She rang the bell and waited for him to open the door, but after around 2 minutes his cook opened the door.

"Arey Didi, aap! Namaste!" The cook quickly recognized her. She was the only person in that high-class society who cared about the maids, cooks, and cleaners, always raising her voice on their behalf.

"Hello... aap yahan kaam karte ho?" She didn't quite recognize the cook.

"Haan didi...khana banati hoon, aj Bhaiya ji ko late hua aane main, chabi nahin lele gai thi toh abhi aayi, bas nikal rahi thi" She smiled and replied.

"Oh.... ok...Kahan hai woh waise?" she asked.

"gym gaya shayad, bataye toh nahin per kadpa gym wala tha aur ek bada jhola leke gaye" the cook said, and Shehnaaz nodded.

"Dost hai tumhare woh didi?" She asked,Shehnaaz had no answer to this question but still she nodded.

"Agar pakke wale dost nahin hai toh ek bataun?" The lady asked,Shehnaaz nodded again.

"Bade khadus hai didi, jo bhi banake do bolted hain tel kam dalo ,tel kam dalo....ab kya paani main khaana banaun ,batao" She complained.

"You tube dekh dekh ke acha khana banati hoon khate hi nahin, sab main hi ghar leke jaati hoon, ab toh ekdum apne pasand ka banane lagi hoon, jab khana humko hi khana hai toh phir apne mann ka banana hi thik hai na" the cook started speaking non-stop.

"Haan...bilkul...thik." Shehnaaz said.

"Batana mat unko didi.." she then said.

"Don't worry, aap kaam karo, main baad mein aungi," she said, and rushed to the gym. She had rehearsed what she would say,she was angry, upset, and confused but she wasn't the one to stay silent. When she arrived at the gym, he wasn't there. She decided to call him, but he didn't answer. She wandered through the gym corridor, trying to figure out where he might be.

As she passed through the corridor, her eyes went towards the floor-to-ceiling glass panels overlooking the swimming pool and she noticed a muscular figure cutting through the water with powerful strokes, standing out among some college going girls lounging by the pool. Her heart skipped a beat. Was it him? She paused to take a proper look.

"Its him" she realized, and then had a leisurely look at him, his wet hair clung to his forehead, water dripped off his broad shoulders and went down to his sculpted back with his every stride. His each stroke exposed his ripped muscles underneath his skin. "Don't forget what you saw in his car, don't forget that he lied about you" these realization was there on the back of her mind yet she stood still, hypnotized by his deadly looks and decided to watch him for a while before confronting him, she also noticed his serious expression as he swam lap after lap.
