Reema entered with a tray of coffee.She placed the tray on the table and sat across her husband.
"Aur bolna usko ke tumko bohat stress hai apni beti ka per tum Shehnaaz ko yahan akele chodne nahin ja sakti,She will ask you to go to your daughter tab bolne tum tabhi jaogi agar woh humare saath shift hone ko tayyar ho jaye. Tell her that it's temporary and you will come back after her delivery.... Samjhi tum Laxmi" Her dad made her understand and Reema just tried her best to not say anything.
"Per Saab ji....Woh nahin raaji hongi... Aur unko wahan jaana acha bhi nahin lagta" Laxmi replied.
"Laxmi main tumhe 10 lakh dunga,aur tumhe apne beti ke saath rehne milega .... Ab soch lo..." He told and Reema couldn't take it,she just walked out. Mr Saini saw this and followed her
"Reema,uthke kyun aai....tujhe lagta hai yeh galat hai?" He asked.
"Aap pooch rahe hain mujhse iska matlab aap jante hain ke yeh galat hai." she replied,he obviously didn't like her answer.
"I am just trying to save my daughter! Don't you understand that?" He said, Reema remained calm.
"When I am discussing something you need to talk,not stay mum" he said getting angry.
"You can't dictate to her, What if she really loves Sidharth... please aap baat kariye unse aise jhut bolke manipulate mat kariye. " Reema shook her head and said. He gave her an angry glance.
"I am just assuming,We still don't know what's there between them,ho sakta hai kuch na ho and aap faltu soch rahe hain." She rectified her sentence.
"Baat ghumana band kar...She is too immature to know what love is... Bas Mr Sharma is Good looking and charming so she is just attracted to him,aur woh iska fayda utha rahe hain. " he snapped.
"She is too immature to love but mature enough to get married to Karan?" She asked.
"Reema. She can't make decisions.
Sidharth is too old for her,he doesn't fit into our world no actually She won't fit into his world. He is a man who could marry any top-notch actress or celebrity. Do you think he is serious about her? "He asked.
"You are just guessing things and trying to control her" she said next.
"I am only doing what's best for her" he insisted.
"Then talk to her. Discuss kijie unse ... Tell her about Karan... Uske khud ke future plans hai." She suggested,she normally doesn't give her view to him but she couldn't stop herself today.
"I know she is serious about her work and I will ensure that no one would interfere between her and her work.... but baat karke koi fayda nahin hai....She will do the opposite of whatever I say,you know it" he said bitterly.
"Let her choose her happiness. If it's Sidharth, then let it be him." Reema moved closer,and stood beside him. Her hand gently touched his.
"Aap bas uska bhala chahte ho... I know... But yeah tarika galat hai..." She said with the fear that he might start screaming anytime.
"Kaisa bachpan dekha hai usne pata hai tujhe... I don't want the same kind of future for her. I have seen what heartbreak and bad decisions do to people, Reema. She deserves stability in life." he said.
"And what if he is also serious about her? What if Sidharth is the one to give her that stability?" Reema questioned.
"Woh usse bohot bada hai, Reema. Unka age gap dekha hai?" He uttered.
