"hi! No no.. just coming"shehnaaz said over phone to Sameera. Her call broke the fragile spell they were in. Shehnaaz quickly smoothed her hair and clothes.
"Sameera bula rahi hai" she said avoiding Sidharth's eyes.
"Ok...let's go"They left his room and made their way back to the pub. Neither of them dared to say a word ,what had just happened and the realization of how far they had let things go made both of them excited yet little startled.
Shehnaaz looked at him as they walked and his hand brushed against hers unintentionally."shhh...." She almost shivered with a hish and then he looked at her and raised his eyebrows.
"Kya hua.... Feeling cold?" He looked at her and asked.
"Woh... aise hi... No... nahin lag rahi" she stammered,He smirked and he quickly entwined his fingers with hers. Her pulse quickened and she started shivering.
"Will you relax?" he murmured and then, lifted her hand and pressed a soft kiss to her knuckles. Her breath got hitched again, and she looked down trying to steady herself.
When they reached the entrance of the pub, Sidharth stopped suddenly. She turned to face him but kept her gaze fixed on the ground.
"Shehnaaz," he said softly. When she didn’t look up, he tipped her chin up with his fingers. Her eyes met his and he saw her cheeks turning crimson. She quickly glanced down again, but he didn’t let her hide. His fingers again lifted her chin and forced her to meet his gaze.
"Why are you keep looking away?" he asked, with a mischievous smile. Her entire face looked red. She tried to muster a response, but couldn't speak so she again looked down.
"Yeah, ab thoda acting lag raha hai, will you please act normal." he teased,
She shot him a mock angry glare but her cheeks looked still flushed with a suppressed blush, and then she held up her middle finger at him. "It is normal enough for you?" She asked.
"Oh? Really?" He asked, her blush deepened.
"I am all game." he added, leaning slightly closer.
"Stop it." To mask her shyness, she gave him a light shove on the shoulder.
"Ouch!"he yelled dramatically, clutching his arm.
"So Violence now what's next Bandage...discipline...sadism...masochism.?"he said dramatically ,she wasn't sure what she heard was really true,She knew him as an introvert and this openness was challenging her at a different level.
"Chiiii.... Kuch bhi?" She said and shook her head, still blushing but unable to wipe the smile off her face.
Sidharth watched her smile and suddenly
the thought of returning to the pub, surrounded by noise and people, felt unbearable. He didn’t want the crowd, the music, or the pretense. He wanted her, just her and the quiet moments where he could talk to her and be himself.
Suddenly his eyes looked darker and seeing this the smile on her face faltered.
'What?"she asked.He shook his head.
"Nothing… just thinking...." He stopped. She raised her eyebrows but he didn't complete his sentence. He took a step closer. Her breath caught in her throat looking at the fire in his eyes but just then, Raj stepped out of the pub to take a phone call, and they straightened themselves quickly.
"Yahan kya kar rahe ho,sab wait kar rahe hain ander" Raj said, Sidharth nodded.
"Chalo," Sidharth told her and Shehnaaz . blinked.
"We will leave as soon as possible..." He whispered near her ear just as they entered.
The pub was buzzing, Sameera was dancing in the center with Priya while the rest of the group mingled at the bar. Soon she found herself being dragged to the dance floor by Sameera.
