Sidharth had just reached the airport after leaving Shehnaaz at her apartment.

"Thank you... so much for coming," he remembered how she whispered when he walked her to the door.He couldn't respond, instead he just looked at her face and tried to memorize her beautiful face.He didn't want to leave, but he had to.

"I am already missing you," he typed. He wasn't someone who expressed emotions that easily,or maybe he was someone who hadn't felt so much before. This wasn't like him. He wasn't the one to get sentimental but she was different, so was last night and their entire situation. His own statement that they just had natural attraction, felt baseless to him.He wanted to sound like things were casual between them but here he was feeling like a lovesick teenager.

Shehnaaz was lying back on her bed when she read his message and felt butterflies fluttering in her tummy. His presence, his words and his deadly look still had the power to make her feel things.

"Come back soon," she replied rolling over and hugging a pillow tightly to her chest. She was happy, but the heaviness in her heart didn't leave her.

Sidharth dialed her number as he walked toward the terminal.

"Hello?" Her voice sounded heavy with a tinge of sleep.

"Ready for college?" he knew her answer before she even gave it.

"No... I am too tired and exhausted. Don't feel like going," she muttered in her low voice. She wasn't ready to step out of the world they had shared for those few intimate hours.

"Fine... want to sleep now?" he asked, even though he didn't really want her to.

"Thodi der baad," she mumbled, her eyelids felt heavy, but she didn't want to disconnect and neither did he.

"I need to check in... Will you stay on line?" He asked.

"Hmmm ..." She replied.

"It will take time" he told her.

"It's ok...." She said.

"Hey ..slept or what" he asked after finishing the formalities.

"Na" she replied. She smiled on the other end, feeling a little shy,

"Sorry ,it took so long... I thought Tum so gai hogi"They had never been like this before. It felt almost like they were a couple. Neither of them said it out loud, but it was there in the way he spoke, in the way she blushed.

"Say something then..." he said, He had already checked in, and now he was waiting for his flight announcement. He didn't want to hang up.

"I don't know what to say...I am happy you came... " She said,Sidharth let out a small breath.

"I still feel like it's not enough. Like I should have stayed back" he uttered.

"You came... that's more than enough for me... Mere Liye itna kuch kabhi Kisi ne nahin kia hai" she reassured him, he could imagine her smile on the phone.

"So you didn't want me to stay back?"he asked.

"You flew all the way here just for my birthday... Do you really feel that I will crib about what you couldn't do rather than being ecstatic about what you did" She asked.

"But leaving you feels wrong...."He leaned back in his seat, closed his eyes for a moment and said.

"you will come back here, right... Mumbai toh Nahin jaoge?" She asked

"Nope...I will come back here as soon as I can."They both went quiet again.

"Kuch khaye?" She asked

"Not feeling like eating"he said.
They kept talking until his flight was called for boarding.
