There's this girl I don't know about. Average height, long black hair that she always keeps in one side braid, crystal blue eyes that shine under the sunlight, and a mouth that runs so much without consideration of the surroundings.

I noticed her when I was getting called out for my shit by Prof. Anderson. He might be a good teacher and the students here love him but to me, he is just an asshole who is using his sorry offer letter against me. What does he think? The school gave him a permanent employment contract means he can do whatever he wants. Especially with someone who shares the name of the school and the family who fucking owns it?

That man dug his own grave and I gotta say, I will enjoy putting him back in his place,

But back to the girl who thought no one was listening to her. No one was paying attention to the words she said about me

Her smile when I was getting shitted was like a slap on the face. She was enjoying this. My eyes stayed rooted with the professor but my attention was on her. Her words, the smug snicker, the whispers. I sat just a bench away from her.

"I like it when they get a taste of their medicine," she said to her friend and I can't help but smile before I mask it from Prof. ready to lose his job.

Once he was done lecturing me, I leaned back in my seat my attention moving to the girl. I wonder what her name is. It'll be easy to plan her ruin once I know her full name. No one mocks me.

"Liliana Goldberg," the professor roll calls and would you look at that? My prayers were answered. The girl raised her hand, responds to the attendance, and then went back to chatting with her friends via her notebook.

Liliana Goldberg. Interesting. Never heard her name before but looks like I need to do some background research.

By the end of the class, everyone got up to leave the room. Prof. Anderson lingered by his desk for a couple of seconds watching me but I just dismissed him with a smirk I am sure looked rude before I saw my friends make their way to me. We don't share classes except for Ryan who happens to be my only real friend. Add childhood too.

"Hey bro," he greets me then sits next to me. Liam, CJ, and Devin all surround the table. "Heard you got lectured by Prof. Andy,"

"Fuck off," The group laughs.

"Luke getting lectured on his first day is the dream come true," CJ says as he runs his hands on his blonde hair.

I was leaning back in my chair, trying to pay attention to my friends when I felt someone's gaze on me. Hot and distracting. It stayed for a good thirty seconds. My body searing with the knowledge that it was her. It's Liliana who is watching me. I am tempted to look at her but my ego told me to hold my ground. We will meet but not like this.

What she enjoyed today, would cost her. It's a promise.

"What do you think?" Devin nudges me on my arm.

The heat is gone. I don't feel anything which means she left. I chance a view by the door where she was standing before I look at Devin. "About what?"

"The girls," he answers. "The freshman,"

CJ shakes his head in consideration. "I think I am gonna hook up with that Keyla chick. Heard she's looking for a bad boy,"

"God, is that what lame sounds like?" Ryan speaks. "We're not in 2019 bro. Nobody calls guys that,"

"The writers do. It's a luring tool they use to attract horny readers," I say resting my arm on the back of the chair.

"And you know that how?" Ryan lifts his brow.
