Iris's POV

Four months had passed by and it was my first day back to work after having our baby girl, Grace Cassidy Bradford. I walked in and Wade motioned me into his office. "Yes, sir?" I asked. He hung up the phone. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

"You're getting the tap," Wade stated.

"The tap for what?" I asked.

"You want to be a detective, right?" Wade asked. I nodded. "You're taking the detective's exam at the end of the week."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, and if you become detective, Tim can come back to patrol," Wade nodded.

"Okay," I smiled. "Thank you." I walked out of the office and Angela walked up to me. "Hey."

"Hey, so you're going to shadow Harper and I today," Angela smiled. "So, go get changed into your civvies and then I wanna see pictures of Baby Bradford."

"Okay," I replied. I got dressed in my civvies. Harper handed me a thigh holster for my gun. "Thank you."

"How do you feel to be back?" Harper asked

"How do you feel to be back?" Harper asked.

"I'm glad to be back," I smiled. I got out my phone and showed them pictures of my daughter. "Here's Grace."

"She's got Bradford's eyes," Harper smiled.

"She does," I nodded. I put away my phone. "So, what's the first item of business?"

"You do what we tell you to do," Harper replied. She handed me some case files. "I need you to look through these files and the families need to be called. Each file has messages that need to be relayed to the families."

"Okay," I sighed. "This is going to be fun."

"Officer Iris Webb?" a man asked walking in with an envelope.

"That'll be me," I replied.

"You've been served," he stated.

"What?" I asked as he walked away. I opened the envelope and looked at the contents. I read through it. "You've got to be kidding me."

"What?" Angela asked.

I went to Tim's office and closed the door," "We've got a problem."

"We?" Tim asked. I nodded as I handed him the papers. "Sebastian is wanting to take you to family court to get joint custody over Oakley?"

"Is that even possible?" I asked. "He's not even listed on the birth certificate."

"I don't know," Tim stated. "Let's find out." I followed Tim out and he stopped Wesley. "Hey, got a question for you."

"Yeah, what's up?" Wesley asked.

"My ex-husband is wanting to take me to court to get joint custody over my son," I stated.
