"LLOYD." Harumi called after the blonde as he retreated into his bedroom, trying to hide away from the Purple Ninja.

Some of the Ninjas had been out fighting criminals and like any good fight, Lloyd was ready to pounce and attack the head of the attack. Though, he had to admit, he wasn't ready for the flamethrower he pulled out.
Thankfully, he managed to dodge with only a light burn that would cause a scar which would eventually heal.

Of course, his girlfriend was furious.

"LLOYD! DON'T RUN AWAY FROM ME." Harumi ordered as she followed him into his bedroom, seeing his stance slouch as he angrily exhaled.

"For god's sake.." Lloyd muttered, beginning to undo the jacket layer of his gi, he felt too hot right now.

"Do you understand how insane that was, to pounce on him when HE had the high ground?" Harumi began, "We were all there to back you up and you just have to be the big hero! It's such a Kai move!"

"Hey!" both the young adults heard Kai call in dismay.

"SHUT UP KAI!" both Harumi and Lloyd yelled at the same time, before going back to arguing with each other.

"I'M NOT A CHILD HARUMI!"

"YOU'RE NOT IMMORTAL EITHER!"

"I'M THE LEADER AND I KNOW MY LIMITS."

"REALLY? LIKE HOW YOU FAINTED LAST WEEK WHEN YOU DIDN'T DRINK ENOUGH?"

Something in Lloyd snapped when Harumi said that, Lloyd gritted his teeth before yelling

"YOU'RE JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER, ALWAYS WANTING TO BE IN CONTROL AND ON TOP. YOU CAN'T JUST CLAIM IT, HARUMI, EARN IT!"

Tears pricked at the corners of Harumi's eyes. Lloyd knew damn well that she and her father had been going through a rough patch recently, and the anger she brought out in him a moment ago made him unearth it.

It was only once he saw the tears in her eyes that he felt guilty, he realised what he had done and wanted to take back.

"Harumi, I-I.." Lloyd reached out to hug her, but Harumi backed away.

"Don't apologise.. you said what you think is true." Harumi said, sniffling a small bit before rushing out of the room. Lloyd didn't know what to say, what to do. So he stood there, wishing he said anything but what he just had.
She didn't deserve that..
