"Let me make myself clear, Green Ninja," the thug in red begun, "you don't cause any trouble and we won't cause any harm. All we want is the money from your team."

Lloyd scoffed. "We don't have money to give. We're still recovering from the whole gang war thing."

"I'm sure they can come up with something." the red thug smirked behind the safety of the vengestone locked door. The Green Ninja narrowed his eyes as he punched the bars again.

"I don't care if you hurt me, I won't be your bargaining tool!" Lloyd claimed as he struck it again.

"Hurt YOU? Oh.. how quick you are to jumped to conclusions." the blue thug spoke up, whistling. Two men burst into the room, dragging someone in by their forearms.

"Now, Green Ninja.." the Red Thug begun as he folded his arms behind his back, "as long as you play nice," the Blue thug headed over to the person, ripping the hood off of the person's head..
"so will we." the person was Harumi. She already looked like she'd been through hell, her face was bruised and various parts of her clothes were torn from what appeared to be whip marks.

Lloyd narrowed his eyes, his knuckles turning white as he clenched onto the bars. "She means nothing to me." he stated, he couldn't hurt Harumi's feelings while she was unconscious.
Besides, she didn't consider his feelings back when she took the Oni Masks.

"Oh, really?" the Red Thug challenged, Lloyd watched as the Blue Thug grabbed Harumi by the throat and threw her to the ground, causing her to stir in her unconscious state.

"You have no reason to hurt her!" Lloyd claimed, trying not to show his feelings.

"Oh? Don't we?" the Red Thug laughed. "We know her father is Ronin, he has trinkets no one else can find.. Besides, the Sons of Garmadon will want the old leader back. And, if we hurt her.." the Blue Thug swung his shoed-foot into Harumi's gut, waking her fully.
"..They may just hurry up gathering that payment."

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Lloyd yelled angrily. The Red and Blue thug looked between each other, if this somehow went sideways, they didn't want a rage-filled Oni to be on the loose, whether or not he was the Green Ninja.

"Here's the deal: you behave, and she doesn't get hurt. All you have to do is wait."

"Only if she stays with me.. I don't trust her in your individual hands."

The Blue Thug grabbed Harumi by the back of her hair, pulling her head back roughly. The young woman's breath was quick, blood trickling down her lip and onto her bare stomach.
"You're lucky your boyfriend wants you." he said bitterly before the thugs threw her into the large cage.

They were concerned that Lloyd would use this as a chance to escape, but all he was focused on was catching Harumi.
Besides, there was some sort of barrier inside that stopped them from leaving, especially with those enchanted ankle bracelets on.

Soon, the thugs left and Lloyd kept the weak Harumi cradled. "How did you get caught..?" he asked once she begun to gain back her strength, leaning her back up against the wall.

"They picked me up last week.." she slurred, it was obvious they had forced something down her. Lloyd used his left palm to help steady her head.
"I feel like absolute crap.." she slurred again, her nose beginning to bleed after the small beating a moment ago.

"Woah woah- your nose," Lloyd pulled her foreward a bit, "keep your head foreward so it doesn't go down your throat and choke you." he said as he cradled her head between his palms. Harumi could muster the strength to place a hand over one of his, her eyes drooping shut.

"Lloyd.. I-" he hushed her softly, he could tell she felt apologetic. As much as he wanted to hear her genuinely say sorry, he wanted it to come from her and not from a possible drug.

"It's okay.." he said as her nose began to dry up. He manoeuvred over to the wall and cradled her in his lap, "Rest. You need it. I'll watch your back." he said with an arm afound her back, holding her close.

"...Thank you." she said as genuine and as clear as she could, snuggling up to his chest as she drifted off into a somewhat peaceful slumber.

He couldn't begin to imagine what they'd been doing to her, he had only been picked up today and had already been beaten twice.. He wasn't a woman either, they could've done many unspeakable things to her.

Lloyd kept watch over Harumi while she slept, pretending to be asleep as he rested his head on her shoulder. He saw some guy come in and he could smell his aura of trouble.
He saw him inspect the two, as if checking if they were awake. He went to open the door, and did. If Harumi was strong enough, Lloyd would try make a run for it, but he couldn't. She wasn't strong enough.

The male came over and as he went to grab Harumi's arm, Lloyd let out a beastly growl that startled the male, causing him to jump out of his skin and leave the cell, locking it.
Lloyd felt Harumi stir a bit as the male left. The blonde snuggled into her again, causing her to resettle. He purred, almost, she felt comfortable. Her scent, her soft skin and calming little exhales.
