The entire "Merge" situation has been intense, not only had it ripped the team apart for a moment in time, but has sewn the realms together like scraps of fabric been made into a blanket.
This blanket wasn't like anything they'd ever seen, but this was their new normal. And they were getting somewhat used to it.
Each realm was.. sort of like a country, had it's own rules and representatives, especially after what Beatrix did.

But oh god. Were they not prepared for what happened this week.

Lloyd and his little students had been out helping law enforcement clear up some baddies, they kept realm-hopping in the hopes to avoid each one's police. They didn't realise just how much help the Ninjas still were.
Well, they chased them down and ended up finding an abandoned warehouse. Turns out this warehouse wasn't abandoned, they was a cradle with a BABY inside of it.

The baby was sound asleep until the battling erupted, and then Arin found the little one. He didn't know what to do other than show Lloyd, and, seeing as he was scared of hurting the little one, he brought Lloyd to the baby.
Lloyd, getting small déjà vu flashbacks, wasn't sure what to do either. He knew how to hold a baby but not calm one down.

Yep.

They went back to the base with a crying baby.

"AHHHH MAKE IT STOOOOOOP!" Wyldfyre covered her ears with both hands, even pulling them down.

"They're cute but LOUD!" Arin commented, cringing a little at the loud shrieks.

As soon as they entered the garage, they saw their saving grace: Harumi.
Kai, Cole and Pixal were there too, but let's be honest Harumi has a reputation with being good with babies - and no, she hasn't had her own yet, we're referring to Season Eight here.

Wyldfyre immediately opened the door and ran out, face planting onto the steel floor.

"...Why do I hear a baby crying?" Cole asked upon hearing the faint cries grow louder as each member of the team got out of the vehicle.
Kai and Harumi were instantly intrigued and stopped working on their bikes. Pixal, who had been drawing up new blueprints for side-cart add-ons for the younger members and Riyu, stopped as well.

"Harumi! PLEASE!" Sora ran over to the white-haired female, pushing her over towards the vehicle bit-by-bit.

"We've suffered for too long in there!" Arin proclaimed before faceplanting besides Wyldfyre. Pixal could see the Kai and Lloyd in the two.

Lloyd had a sheepish smile as he revealed the baby, holding them in his arms as comfortable as he could for the baby. Harumi's eyes instantly widened at seeing how young the child was, taking the baby boy in her arms. She hushed the baby softly and rested them against her shoulder. She held the little one's hand with two fingers as he rested his tiny palm there.
The baby soon began to settle and the cries began to quieten, then completely stop as Harumi started to hum.

"Thank you, SO so much." Sora said, sighing in relief. Yup, Nya.
Arin rested his hands over his eyes, "My eardrums.." Yeah, Lloyd.
"Oh my FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER, YAY!" Definitely Kai.

"Shh!" Harumi scolded softly to the kids, continuing to gently rock the baby against her body, keeping a small hold on their tiny hand.
"You don't want to wake him or he'll start again."

"He?" Lloyd spoke, "How'd you already know he's a he?"

"Lloyd. I'm a woman, I know everything. Well, except where this little one is going to stay." Harumi claimed, hearing the baby begin to snooze, unable to freeze her warm smile.

"Weeeell, Lloyddddd. You're the Master now, where's he staying?" Cole said teasingly, snickering quietly.

"Bro bro bro, come here a second." Kai said as he dragged Lloyd over to the side. "Kids! Snacks are on me in the kitchen!" the brown-haired Ninja stated before the three of them went RUNNING to the elevator - Sora switched to the stairs though, getting there those few seconds faster.

"Doesn't miss this opportunity," Lloyd rose a confused brow. "this'll be good practice for when you and Harumi have some of your o-"

"Kai!" Pixal quietly yelled, avoiding waking the baby but expressing her anger. Harumi was too focused in the baby to even realise Lloyd went from green to red, still softly humming.

"I-I.." Lloyd gulped down his words, forming some new ones. "Kai, that's not gonna happen.."

"Bro. You know how many times people say that then a quick one turns to a long journey?"

"KAI, I SWEAR I WI-"

"Lloyd." Harumi's voice, despite being somewhat quiet, was enough to get Lloyd to shut up. He knew by how she spoke she was mad.

"Sorry Babe.."
