Third person pov-

Jisung woke up after a long, restful sleep, his stomach growling with hunger. It had been a day since he last ate, and he was desperate for a meal. But as he looked around the empty house, he realized there was no food to be found. His legs trembled as he got out of his mother's bed, his eyes welling up with tears.

He made his way downstairs, hoping to find at least some water, but the fridge was bare except for two boxes of instant noodles. One of them had a sticky note attached, and Jisung's heart swelled as he read the message: "Hey Jisung, I saw there was no food, so I got some. Sorry, I don't have much money to buy you good food. You can eat this." Tears streamed down his face as he realized someone had shown him kindness, something he rarely experienced.

Jisung cooked the noodles and devoured them, savoring the taste. He hadn't gone to school for two days, and the loneliness was suffocating. He searched the house for his dad, but he was nowhere to be found. The words his dad had spoken echoed in his mind: "You're a failure, Jisung." He chuckled sadly, feeling the weight of his father's disapproval.

As he cleaned his mother's room, Jisung couldn't shake off the feeling of inadequacy. Was he a failure because he was an omega? Or was it because he was the reason for his mother's death? The questions swirled in his mind, making him feel lost and alone.

But as he sat down to write some lyrics, Jisung found solace in his music. "I wanna be myself (I don't care)," he wrote, the words flowing from his heart. Days turned into weeks, and Jisung's heat cycles became a regular occurrence. His dad would leave the house for a week each time, disgusted by Jisung's omega nature.

Despite his father's disapproval, Jisung excelled in school, earning top grades and impressing his teachers. But he had no desire to become a doctor or engineer; his passion lay in music. He taught himself to play the guitar and piano, and his school teacher encouraged him to pursue his dreams.

However, his dad's obsession with money and status crushed Jisung's aspirations. He was forced to study medicine, but he intentionally failed the entrance exam. After enduring his dad's wrath, Jisung chose to become a teacher, hoping to find some solace in shaping young minds.

To his surprise, the school asked him to teach music as well, and Jisung gladly accepted. For the first time in his life, he felt a glimmer of hope, a spark of light in the darkness. But even as a grown man, Jisung still feared his dad's wrath, still endured the beatings and the verbal abuse.

Yet, he held onto his music, his passion, his escape. And in the silence of his room, Jisung found solace in the lyrics he wrote, a reminder that he was more than his father's disapproval, more than his omega nature. He was himself, and that was enough.

He was himself, and that was enough
