"Minho, could you drop me off at home?" Jisung asked, tugging gently at Minho’s sleeve.
"Why? Are you taking the day off?" Minho raised an eyebrow, studying the omega’s face.
"No, I just want to shower," Jisung replied, starting to rise from his seat.
Minho’s expression softened. "You can shower here, Jisungie."
Jisung chuckled, shaking his head. "I don’t have my clothes, silly."
"You can wear mine. I don’t mind," Minho said, a small, amused smile playing on his lips.
Jisung’s eyes sparkled with mischief. "You just want my scent in your clothes, don’t you?"
Minho’s cheeks warmed, and he quickly turned his gaze aside. "We’re going to be late! Just go take a shower. I’ll find something for you to wear," he said, gently pushing Jisung toward the bathroom, trying to mask his own embarrassment.
---
Soon, Jisung stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, beads of water trailing down from his damp hair. He spotted a set of clothes neatly placed on the bed—a soft blue hoodie, gray sweatpants, and a fresh pair of boxers. With a warm smile, he slipped into the clothes, savoring their cozy warmth, before making his way to the living room.
"Hey, Jisung," Felix called, looking up as he entered.
"Hey, Lix! Where’s Hyunjin?" Jisung asked, settling at the dining table.
"He left a while ago—got a call from the company," Felix replied, taking a seat beside him. Then, with a grin, he added, "Those are my brother’s clothes, right? They look good on you."
"Don’t lie! This hoodie’s a bit too big for me," Jisung laughed, tugging at the oversized sleeves.
Felix chuckled. "Maybe, but you look cute anyway. Are you actually going to wear that to school?"
"Our school doesn’t mind as long as we’re dressed simply and appropriately," Jisung replied, glancing toward the kitchen as a delicious aroma filled the air. "Teachers can’t wear party outfits, either, right?"
"Breakfast is ready," Minho announced as he emerged from the kitchen, holding a pan filled with warm, freshly made food. His gaze softened as he spotted Jisung at the table.
---
Minho dropped Jisung off at school, where he made his way into the staff room and took a seat. Soon after, his friend Sunoo joined him, sliding into the chair beside him.
"Hey! Was that your mate who dropped you off?" Sunoo asked, raising an eyebrow and grinning.
Jisung felt his cheeks warm. "Yeah, that was Minho."
Sunoo’s grin widened. "So, are you two officially dating now?"
The question struck a chord in Jisung. He and Minho had grown close in recent days, almost reaching the point of a more intimate connection. But neither had confessed their feelings outright, nor had they officially defined their relationship.
"Jisung?" Sunoo nudged him gently, noticing his silence.
Jisung blinked, forcing a smile as he looked at his friend. "Oh, sorry, Sunoo… I’m just not feeling well. Can we talk later?"
Sunoo’s expression softened. "Of course, Jisung. Class is about to start anyway. Take care!" With a gentle pat on Jisung’s shoulder, Sunoo headed off to his classroom, leaving Jisung to gather his thoughts.
---
When the school day finally ended, Jisung felt a mixture of exhaustion and anticipation as he waited by the school gate for Minho to pick him up. The familiar sight of Minho’s car pulled him from his thoughts, and he climbed into the front seat, nerves fluttering in his chest.
"Where to? Your place or my apartment?" Minho asked.
Jisung hesitated before answering, "Could we go somewhere… peaceful?"
Minho nodded, his gaze softening. "Wherever you want, Jisung."
After a moment’s thought, Jisung brightened. "How about an art museum?"
Minho smiled at the suggestion and set off toward the museum.
---
They wandered through the quiet halls, taking in the beauty and calm of the artwork surrounding them. Finally, they settled on a bench in front of a serene landscape painting, and Jisung felt his heart race as he turned to Minho.
"Hyung… can I ask you something?" he murmured, barely trusting his voice.
Minho turned to him, his expression gentle. "Yes, Sung?"
Jisung hesitated, feeling his chest tighten. "Do you… do you even love me?"
The question was out before he could stop it, and he felt a pang of vulnerability. His throat tightened as he fought back the tears. He didn’t want to cry, not in front of Minho. But his heart was aching with the uncertainty of it all.
Minho’s face softened with concern. "What happened to you, Jisung?" he asked gently, reaching out for his hand. But Jisung pulled away slightly, his heart aching even more.
"Sorry… I shouldn’t have asked that," he muttered, his voice breaking as he stood up abruptly.
Before Minho could respond, Jisung hurried to the restroom, locking the door behind him. He slid down, pressing his back against the cool tiles as the tears he’d held back finally fell. The weight of everything he’d been feeling poured out, the longing, the confusion, and the fear of not knowing where they stood.
Jisung let the tears fall freely, allowing himself to feel every bit of the ache he’d been holding back for so long.
