Minho drove his car, heading back home. He longed to stay with his mate, but he knew it would end up in a big mess.

As he drove, his gaze fell on a familiar figure on the road. It was none other than Han Heejung, his father's most trusted assistant and the father of his mate.

Minho's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Heejung was speaking to a young woman, his face lit up with a wide smile. From her appearance, she seemed to be around Minho's age, possibly an omega or beta.

He couldn't help but follow the pair with his eyes. Of course, Heejung was keeping a respectful distance from the young woman.

"They must be talking about work," Minho muttered to himself, stealing one last glance at the two before driving away.

"Are you serious, Jisungie? You met him again?" The older woman exclaimed over the phone.

"Don't shout, Lia! My ears are going to bleed," Jisung replied, annoyed.

"I just can't believe it! You met him again! And he offered you his clothes and got you something to—" Lia babbled on.

"Lia, you're embarrassing me," Jisung shouted.

"I'm just jealous of you, little boy," Lia chuckled.

"So, you're saying Yuna didn't take care of you when you were in heat?" Jisung asked.

"It's not like that. She's the most caring alpha ever," Lia gushed about her mate.

"Ouch! Lia, I think another heat wave is hitting. I'll call you later, bye," Jisung said, ending the call abruptly.

"Are you feeling better now?" Minho asked over the phone while working on some papers.

"A lot better. Thank you so much for offering your clothes. It really helped me," Jisung replied.

"Did you have breakfast?" Minho asked, glancing at the clock. It was almost 11 in the morning.

"No. I don't feel well enough to move and make some ramen, so I decided to just lay down," Jisung chuckled tiredly.

"What do you want to eat? I'll get it for you," Minho offered.

"You don't have to—"

"Just tell me, Jisung. I'll get it for you," Minho insisted, his voice firm.

"I can pay—"

"Free food from me for you, stupid!"

"Get me a hamburger then," Jisung said.

"You want a burger for breakfast? Are you sure your stomach won't get upset?" Minho asked, puzzled.

"Just get me what I want, Mister Minho. I can take care of my stomach," Jisung replied sassily before hanging up.

"What the hell are you doing to me, Jisung?" Minho mumbled, staring at his mate's contact.

"Thank you so much, Minho!" Jisung exclaimed as Minho entered the house with the burger.

"I'm older than you, Jisung. You better call me hyung," Minho said sternly, handing the burger to the omega.

"Since you bought me food, I'm calling you hyung," Jisung said, sitting on the couch. Minho sighed and sat down, keeping some distance from the omega.

"Do you want some?" Jisung asked.

"What?"

"Hamburger! Do you want to share?" the omega asked, stuffing the food into his mouth.

"I want a Han burger. Can I get that?" the alpha said with a smirk. Jisung choked at the alpha's teasing.

"Calm down, Jisung. I was just joking! By the way, I saw your dad two days ago, after dropping you off," Minho said.

"What? He was out of town for a business meeting. There's no way you could have seen him," the omega said.

"I'm sure it was Heejung. I've seen him many times. He was talking with a woman," Minho replied.

"But he said he was going for a business meeting?" Jisung said, munching on his food.

"Something suspicious, right?" the alpha asked.

"Yeah..." the omega replied.

Finally the monthly exams are over!
