Third person pov

"I saw her with Heejung a week ago," Minho muttered, his eyes scanning the missing poster with a tension Felix could sense from across the room.

"Is something wrong, hyung?" Felix asked softly, worry creasing his brow as he studied the alpha's face.

Minho forced a small smile, though it didn’t reach his eyes. He gently patted Felix’s head. "Nothing, baby. Just a business issue. Don’t worry yourself about it."

But Felix wasn't convinced. The unease lingered in his chest, even as he nodded in agreement.

"Lixie, can you write down the mobile number on that poster?" Minho asked, his voice soft but distant.

Felix pulled out his phone and typed in the number without question. "Done, hyung."

"So… you're saying Dad's company is involved in something illegal?" Felix’s voice shook slightly as he tried to wrap his mind around what Minho had just told him.

"Yes," Minho sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as if trying to relieve the weight of the situation. "And I think Heejung is playing both sides. He’s working for our company, but he’s also made a deal with the Hwangs to get Jisung and Hyunjin married. And it gets worse…" Minho pulled up a picture on his phone and handed it to Felix. "We found this in his room."

Felix’s eyes widened as he stared at the image, his stomach twisting. "That’s… that drug is banned internationally, hyung! Using it on an omega could—" his voice faltered, horror flooding his features, "—it could kill them. It forces their heat and fertility."

Minho nodded grimly, his jaw tight. "I know. That's why we need solid evidence to prove Heejung's involvement, Lixie. We can’t act on suspicion alone." He chuckled bitterly, the sound devoid of humor. "Even we’re still in doubt about this."

Felix’s eyes flickered with determination. "Can’t we call the relatives of that woman? The one on the poster?"

Minho’s expression softened for a moment, but his tone was firm when he replied, "Not we, baby. I will handle this. You’re not getting involved in something this dangerous, understood?"

Felix bit his lip, concern still evident in his eyes, but he nodded. "Yes, hyung."

Later that day, Minho sat with his phone pressed to his ear, speaking to the missing woman’s father.

"You’ve seen my daughter? Do you know where she is?" The man’s voice was frantic, desperation leaking through the phone.

"Yes, sir. I saw her, but I can’t be certain where she is now," Minho replied, his voice steady and calm despite the pressure mounting. "But if we meet, I believe we can figure something out together."

The man was silent for a moment, and Minho could hear the weight of fear and hope battling on the other end of the line.

"We can meet at Chuvi Café this evening. Don’t panic, sir. We’ll find your daughter," Minho assured him before ending the call.

As soon as the phone clicked off, Minho lowered it slowly, exhaling the breath he didn’t realize he was holding. His mind raced, trying to piece everything together, but the image of the missing woman clung to him like a shadow.

Felix, who had been quietly observing, stepped closer. "Hyung… do you really think we can find her?" he asked softly, his voice laced with worry.

Minho glanced at his younger brother, the soft glow of determination in his eyes. "I have to believe we will, Lixie. For her sake… and for ours."
