Third person pov
Minho sat at the small table in Chuvi Café, his mind racing as he waited for Diya’s father to arrive. The tension was thick in the air, and though he kept checking his phone, he could feel the weight of the responsibility pressing down on him.
A few moments later, the door opened, and an older man shuffled in, his eyes wide with desperation. Spotting Minho, he hurried over.
"Are you Lee Minho?" the man asked, his voice shaky and full of hope.
Minho nodded, standing up. Before he could speak, the man grabbed his hand, his grip tight with urgency. "Please… tell me where you saw her. My daughter… where is she?"
Minho gently led the man to sit down, keeping his voice calm and reassuring. "Sir, I understand how scared you must be, but please, try to calm down. We’re going to find her. We just need to take things step by step."
The old man sat, wiping at his tear-filled eyes. Minho continued, his tone steady. "I need more information to help. What’s her name? Where did she work? Anything you can tell me will help."
"My daughter’s name is Diya. She worked at an IT company until she got a job offer from Lee Enterprises. She was so excited, she quit her old job to start working there," the man explained, his voice breaking.
At the mention of Lee Enterprises, Minho’s stomach clenched. His family’s business was involved? This couldn’t be a coincidence.
"Lee Enterprises?" Minho asked, his suspicion deepening. "Did someone from the company speak to her directly?"
"Yes," the man replied, his hands shaking as he rubbed them together. "An officer named Han. He was the one who arranged everything with her. The day before she disappeared, she went to meet him."
Before Minho could respond, the café door opened, and Jisung rushed in. He quickly sat down beside Minho, offering a small apology. "Sorry I’m late."
Minho gave him a nod before turning back to Diya’s father, his mind still working through the information. "This Han… do you remember anything else about him? Anything Diya mentioned?"
The old man shook his head, the exhaustion of his grief clear on his face. "No… nothing. She was just happy about the job. And now she’s gone."
Minho exchanged a glance with Jisung, the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. This wasn’t just about Diya. There was something darker happening, something that connected to his own family.
Jisung spoke up, his voice soft but probing. "Sir, is there anything special about your daughter? A rare blood group, or anything unique?"
Diya’s father shook his head again, tears spilling down his cheeks. "No, she’s just an ordinary omega."
"Omega?" Jisung asked, his voice lowering. "Is she unmated?"
"Yes," the man replied, confused. "But why are you asking all this?"
"Just trying to gather as much information as possible," Jisung said gently. "Did you report her disappearance to the police?"
"Yes, but they’ve done nothing," the old man cried, his voice cracking with hopelessness. "No one’s looking for her."
"Please, don’t cry," Jisung said, his heart aching for the man. "We’ll find her. Everything will be alright, I promise."

Soon, Minho and Jisung arrived at Minho’s apartment, the tension of the evening still hanging between them. As soon as they stepped inside, Jisung’s emotions boiled over.
"I can’t believe my dad is doing something illegal," Jisung cried, collapsing into Minho’s arms. His body trembled, and Minho held him close, rubbing his back in slow, comforting circles.
"He’s always been in the wrong, Jisung," Minho whispered, his voice steady but filled with quiet anger. "From the very start, when he used to hurt you. You don’t need to carry his burden anymore."
Jisung’s scent filled the room, a dull, aching reminder of his pain. Minho could feel the omega’s turmoil, his heart breaking for him.
"Even if he was wrong, he’s still my dad," Jisung said through his tears, pulling back slightly to meet Minho’s eyes. "How am I supposed to accept that he’s a criminal?"
Minho cupped Jisung’s face, his thumb gently wiping away the tears that streaked his cheeks. His voice softened, filled with warmth. "Jisung, listen to me. You don’t owe him anything. Focus on the people who love and care about you. That’s what matters."
Jisung’s eyes fluttered closed, the weight of Minho’s words settling over him like a blanket of comfort. Minho leaned in, his breath warm against Jisung’s ear, his voice a low, husky whisper. "Can I kiss you, Sung?"
Jisung’s breath hitched, a nervous but eager sigh escaping him as he nodded slightly, his lips parting in anticipation. His heart raced, pounding against his chest as his emotions swirled—pain, confusion, and a deep yearning for comfort.
Minho smiled softly, his gaze never leaving Jisung’s face as he closed the small distance between them. His lips brushed against the omega’s softly at first, a gentle meeting of warmth, but then the kiss deepened, becoming a tender yet passionate exchange. His hand moved to the back of Jisung’s neck, holding him close as the kiss intensified, pouring unspoken emotion into each movement.
Jisung melted into him, his hands clutching Minho’s shirt, needing the closeness, the comfort. The kiss wasn’t just a touch of lips; it was a release, a promise, and an expression of all the feelings they’d been holding inside. The world outside faded away as they lost themselves in the moment, the only thing that mattered being the warmth and connection they shared.
When they finally pulled apart, both of them were breathless, but there was a calmness in the air now, a silent understanding. Minho rested his forehead against Jisung’s, his hand still cradling the omega’s face gently. "You’re not alone in this, Jisung. I’m here.
