Third person pov

“You can, Mr. Hwang. You can take him wherever you want,” Heejung said to the alpha, her voice cold and indifferent.

Jisung felt a sharp pang in his chest—a deep ache of betrayal. It wasn’t like his father had ever truly cared for him, but still... it hurt.

"Get ready, Jisung..." Hyunjin's voice broke the silence, and Jisung nodded quietly before rushing to his room. He was already wearing something decent, but for some reason, he felt the need to change. Maybe it was just a way to distract himself from the growing weight in his heart.

Once alone, he dialed Minho, who had just ended a conference call.

“Why did you ask Hyunjin to take me out on a date? Are you out of your mind, hyung?” Jisung mumbled, his voice laced with frustration.

“Darling,” Minho’s voice softened, instantly calming some of Jisung’s anger, “I’m the one taking you on a date. It’s just a way to get you out of your father’s sight.”

“Oh, I see... so you’re taking me on a date, huh? Without even asking if I *wanted* to go?” Jisung shot back, his tone dripping with sass.

Minho chuckled softly. “I’m really sorry, my omega. I thought you might want to come out with me... but you’re right. I should have asked. If you’d rather stay home, I won’t force you.”

Jisung’s heart softened at the sincerity in Minho’s voice. “You really are a gentleman, hyung. I’m lucky to have such a thoughtful alpha as my mate. And yes, I *would* like to go on a date with you.”

Minho chuckled again, a warm sound that made Jisung smile despite himself. “Where are we going?” Jisung asked, curious.

“How about a water park? I didn’t want to do something boring like a café or a walk in the park.”

“Okay then, I’ll wear something casual,” Jisung said before ending the call.

“You’re so annoying, Minho,” Hyunjin muttered as he rolled his eyes at the older alpha.

“Not as much as you, brat. We’re going to the water park for our date. Wanna come with us?” Minho grinned, clearly teasing.

Hyunjin scoffed. “Are you serious? You’re asking me to tag along on your date? What’s wrong with you?”

“I’m not asking you to come, idiot. I’m asking you to bring Felix along. Don’t be so dense,” Minho shot back with a smirk.

“But Felix is still a minor. I’m not supposed to take him on dates yet,” Hyunjin protested.

“He’ll be of age next week, Hyunjin. And who said it’s a date? It’s more like a grandpa taking his grandkid to the water park,” Minho teased.

Hyunjin glared. “Shut up. I’m not that old.”

Jisung’s POV –

“Hi! I’m Han Jisung,” I greeted the new omega with a warm smile. He had just been introduced as Minho’s younger brother.

“I’m Lee Felix Yongbok. Nice to meet you,” Felix bowed politely.

As we walked into the water park, I asked, “What are you studying right now?”

“I’m studying medicine, first year,” Felix replied. “Has my brother been treating you well?”

“Oh yeah, he treats me very well,” I said, smiling.

“If he ever says anything that might hurt you, please forgive him. He’s not the most social person.”

I giggled at Felix’s concern. “Don’t worry, Lixie. He’s been really careful with his words around me.”

I glanced over at Minho and Hyunjin, both alphas following behind us, looking somewhat left out. “You guys good?” I called out to them.

Minho pouted, his voice dripping with mock jealousy. “It’s like *you two* are the ones on the date.”

I rolled my eyes playfully. “Minho, I’m just getting to know your brother.”

Felix chimed in with a smirk. “Yeah, hyung! Can’t I talk to my soon-to-be brother-in-law?”

I blushed at Felix’s words, feeling a little flustered. Minho narrowed his eyes at Felix but smiled. “You can, but not right now, Lix. We’re on a date. Plus, look—Hyunjin’s all lonely.”

Felix turned to his mate with a soft, apologetic look. “Hyunjin-ah, are you feeling lonely? I’m sorry, alpha.”

Hyunjin smiled and shook his head. “No need to apologize, love. How about we get on a ride?” He grabbed Felix’s wrist gently, leading him toward the rides.

Minho scoffed as they walked away. “Look at them... and Hyunjin says *we’re* cringey.”

“They’re cute,” I said, watching them with a fond smile. “Clingy and adorable.”

Minho raised a brow and wrapped his arm around me. “So we’re not cute, huh?”

I grinned up at him. “We’re cuter.”

Minho chuckled, pulling me closer. “Come on, let’s go have fun.”

With a playful tug, he grabbed my wrist, and we ran together toward the park, the world around us fading as we focused on just being together.
