Matt was heading off to the park, as fast as he could to meet with Owen, Emmet, Ethan and Lucy. In his backpack he had a gaming console and some cartridges he borrowed from Owen. To his surprise, he was the second to arrive. Ethan was waiting in the park too.

"Homie." said Matt.

"Homie." replied Ethan, giving Matt a fist bump.

"How are your eyes?" asked Matt.

"They're fine. But they do itch a couple of times." said Ethan.

"Hey guys!" cried Owen as he ran towards Matt and Ethan.

"Hey you!" cried Matt.

"I brought more video games from home. Retro ones of course." said Owen.

"I like retro games. They're fun and challenging." said Matt.

"And unfair. They didn't have a save file back then! What the heck?!" said Ethan.

"Well anyway, where's Emmet?" asked Owen.

"He's on his way. Apparently." said Matt.

Ethan started to rub his left eye, then he gasped.

"You okay?" asked Matt.

Ethan opened his left eye and it was starting to bleed.

"Oh no! Emergency!" cried Owen.

"Relax. I have something in case of these freak accidents." said Ethan. He pulled out a small towel from his pockets and wiped the blood off from his eye.

"I'm fine. It's a Mothman thing. I was starting to see something, but the vision just vanished." said Ethan.

"Isn't there like a doctor you can talk to about that?" asked Matt.

"Yes. Some of the Mothpeople I meet tell me it's completely normal for me to have visions like this." said Ethan.

"Okay, just checking," said Matt.

Owen then felt a breeze flowing from his face and he relaxed.

"The breeze feels great." he said softly.

"It's been rather windy these past few days. After being cooped up in that school, I can't tell you guys how happy I am to see the sun and the clouds and the green grass." said Matt.

"Yeah." said Ethan softly. Suddenly, his eyes started to hurt again and he shut them tightly.

"Ethan, are you sure you're alright?" asked Matt.

"I'm seeing.... Seeing something. It's .... Zakariak!" cried Ethan.

Suddenly, the ground started to shake and the boys quickly huddled together.

"What's going on?" asked Matt.

"Take a good guess." said Owen.

Coming towards them in a large spider-like robot was Zakariak, pressing buttons on the controls and laughing hysterically.

"I have now chosen ones!" he cried.

"This guy." said Matt, pulling out his training sword. If it was one new thing Matt learned from Rood Bridge Park was to never leave home without backup, that being his training sword.

Ethan's eyes were still bloody, yet he pulled out his training sword as well.

"Are you okay with this?" asked Matt.

"I was born ready dude." said Ethan.

Matt smiled. "I'm glad brother," he said.

"Brother?" asked Ethan.
