Chapter 10 : Matt
Matt, Ethan, Lucy, and Owen were then following the large group of students to their rooms. They were all being led by a Frog Man who was showing the hallways to the kids.
"Boys will sleep on this end of the hallway. And girls will have upstairs. You are free to choose your roommates. However, there are only three people in one bedroom. We have enough room, but choose wisely." said the Frog Man.
"Here!" cried Ethan, pulling Matt to his side. He was then reaching for Owen, who was looking around uncomfortably. Ethan tapped his shoulder and motioned him to join them.
At first, Owen didn't understand, until Ethan kept on calling him.
"Why don't we share a room? Come with us Owen." said Ethan.
Owen was confused at first. He didn't look too sure if this was a good idea or not.
"You okay?" asked Matt.
"I'm g-good." said Owen.
"I'll see you boys later then. I'm going to where the girls are at. See ya!" said Lucy.
The Frog Man then made this announcement. "I forgot to add this! If you're a lone wolf, we do have individual rooms, but they are much smaller. If you please, go downstairs for the individual rooms." said the Frog Man.
"Individual rooms?! Sign me up! I'll catch you guys later." said Lucy. She waved back at the boys cheerfully and went down stairs.
"Who is that girl?" asked Ethan.
"An angel from heaven." said Matt with dreamy eyes.
"What now?" asked Owen, struggling not to chuckle.
"Nothing!" said Matt.
The boys went to their new room which was compact and rather small, but it had three twin size beds, all decorated with boring looking blue bed sheets.
"If only I brought pillows from home." said Matt looking at the rather hard looking pillows.
"It's not that bad. We have our own place to hang out." said Ethan.
Owen placed his suitcase on his bed and started to unpack. Ethan pulled out a few shirts, most of them dark green and Matt was unpacking his orange hoodies.
"Is orange the only color you wear?" asked Ethan.
"Yeah. I like orange." said Matt.
"Well... I have a shirt here that is not my style. I bought it because it was an Isaiah original. But I think it suits you better." said Ethan. He pulled a t- shirt that was identical to his, only blue and with a blue pine tree in the center.
"Hey! It's from that cartoon. Gravity Falls." said Matt.
"I know that show! Yeah, I thought that blue pine tree looked familiar." said Ethan. He gave the shirt to Matt, who put it on and looked in the mirror.
"Hey, I like this new look." said Matt.
Ethan looked into his suitcase and found another one. An orange shirt with the sun on the center.
"Owen, I have this one. Here, you can have. It's not my style either." said Ethan.
"Thank you. It looks really nice." said Owen. He looked into his suitcase and bit his lip.
"I'm sorry. I have nothing to give you guys." said Owen.
"What's that? No! Don't worry about that! I just figured you might like the shirt." said Ethan.
