𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 彡 𝐭.𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚 (𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿.)

⤷ 38,, the dumpster battle

"I simp for that guy," Rin says as she points at Nekoma's captain.

You turn your head to look at the black haired male. He looks like he just got out of bed. "Why?" you ask, looking at your friend.

She chuckles, "He's hot, that's why."

"Guys with a bed head are your type?" you ask with a frown, to which she shrugs.

"You could say that," she answers.

You frown and look at Nekoma's captain. He's not your type per se (also because you're so focused on a certain blueberry haired male), but he is indeed pretty good looking. His smirk will get girls get weak in their knees for sure.

"Actually, just captains are more my type," Rin says after a while. She points at Karasuno's number one. "That's Daichi-san, he's also my type. His smile is really gorgeous. I also like Bokuto-san, he's just so funny and that face? Hot. I believe Karasuno played them too, didn't they?" she asks, but she shrugs. "And there's this captain, Terushima Yuuji— Gosh, Riley, he's a blessing for the world with his looks. He has a tongue piercing!"

Your head turns to her quickly. "A tongue piercing?? Oh my, that's hot!" you say, imagining what this guy must look like. He must be really hot.

But not as hot as Kageyama, of course.

"He's also dyed blonde. I don't think he likes me, but if he would give me a chance I would fold and let him do anything to me. And that means something, because I'm asexual."

You chuckle at her words, "You're one of a kind, Rin," you say. You nudge her shoulder, "Why don't you go for one of them? Maybe there is romance between you and one of them."

The black and white haired girl chuckles, "Mhm, maybe. I just wouldn't know who fits with me and if they're even relationship material. I like too many men, and now they're just hot to me... Like, I've got a thing for Akaashi too. And if I'm being honest, Suna is hot too. And he's one of my best friends!"

"Suna?" you bring out, your eyes widening. "I hate to break it to you, but I would never see that happening."

She widens her eyes, "Oh, I know!" she brings out with a laugh, "I mean, for him it's more besties vibes. He's almost family to me because I know him so well. I would never have feelings for him, but he is pretty hot, isn't he? I can say that," she says, eyeing Suna and looking at him a little. "And as for Akaashi, he does kinda have my heart."

You think about Akaashi. You and him have your history, but he's a good guy. You are definitely over him but you still wish him the best and you can see that he's an amazing guy. Maybe he's something for Rin.

"You and him would be cute together," you say in all honesty. "He would be lucky to have someone like you."

A small blush creeps upon her cheeks, "Mhm, that's sweet. But then again, look at that science nerd. He's a fucking snack too, how could I choose between guys like them? Maybe I just have a thing for middle blockers. Or I just don't like romance and I'm aromantic too?" she asks herself, but then shakes her head. "Nope, I want a relationship one day."

You chuckle at her words and internal crisis and take another look at Nekoma's captain, "Yeah... I can see you and him fitting together. You're pretty crazy, but he seems like that too. But someone like Akaashi can be friends with Bokuto, so that means that you and him could work out too!" you finish your little analysis. Rin chuckles to your answer.

"I'm sorry for rambling, love isn't something you just think about because it might fit. It's rather something you feel."

She nods, "Yeah, it's some soulmate shit or something. You never know who you'll end up with until you find the one."

"And we both haven't found them yet," you say with a pout.

"But what if we have?"

Rin looks up. She moves her head towards you, "It's just a thought, but what if we met them? You never know, maybe it just isn't the right time, or maybe you haven't realized it yet. Sometimes things just aren't the right time. Sometimes other things need to happen for you to realize that the one was right in front of you all this time," she says as she thinks about it.

You nod, "You're right, but I doubt I have met mine," you mumble, eyes on the blue haired boy that wears the number nine on his back.

"Because sometimes," you start with a sigh, your eyes closing for a second. "Sometimes those feelings just aren't mutual."

"It doesn't have to be just now. Feelings can come later too, you know," she says, her eyes on the court. She leans her hands on the railing and looks at the tall blond with glasses.

"Later?" you ask.

Rin nods. "Maybe they liked you first and you said you didn't like them back, but those feelings appear after. And then it's too late... Sometimes that happens."

You think back to Akaashi. "That's true, sometimes that does happen..." you answer with a sigh.

"And sometimes those feelings are mutual and you get together, but then you realize you won't actually work out after all."

You look at Rin and see her looking at the court sadly. You follow her gaze and see her looking at the tall blond guy.

"Who's that?" you ask. "Is that the guy Atsumu says you have a crush on?"

She moves her eyes away from the court and looks at you. "That's Tsukishima Kei. But no, I don't have a crush on him," she says. She swallows the lump in her throat. "He's just someone I know. But Atsumu did say that about him, yes."

You nod and don't ask her anything further. It's clear she doesn't want to talk about it, but it's also clear that she feels a certain way about him.

But she will tell you in time, you're sure about that.

"Who do you think is going to win?" you ask, trying to change the subject.

Rin looks up and you see her eyes losing the sadness she felt moments before. "I hope it's Nekoma, because I would love to see that captain play again. He looks like my next boyfriend."

You chuckle. "Perfect reason. I'm curious, I heard Nekoma is good. But we know Karasuno is good too... So it will be an interesting match."

She nods. "Yeah, and I'm all here for it."

Then the whistle is blown, showing that the match is about to start.

Time to see your buddy do his thing.
